- minimal equipment: a mat to start with (and then access to dog-walk later on) and RC DVD
- minimal space: 15 m
- all levels welcomeJuly Running Contacts class, starting on July 25, is now open for registration! Most work is done with no equipment and just a mat: working on turns, soft turns, straight exits, and various handling before any DW work, so you don't need much room to start off.
Here are some graduation videos of dogs from the previous classes. I chose different sizes and only those who started from zero so you can see how far they got in less than 4 months:
The class is appropriate for total beginners (from 7 months old on), retrains from 2on2off and all who have running contacts already (even if not trained with a mat), but want to work on various exits or any other aspect of RC - all the feedback is completely individual, so all levels are welcome. I will also publish all the lessons right at the start of the class, so you can continue from wherever you currently are.
Minimum age for this class is 7 months and the minimum equipment is now just the DVD + a mat - like a towel or a doormat - and later on occasional access to a dog-walk, ideally one that can be lowered.
This class is 12 weeks long (+2 weeks of a catch up break in between) and starts on July 25, but you can register already now and then enter the classroom HERE.
Please note that only those who took this class with the SAME dog before qualify as repeaters!
Please make sure your are registered and logged in before you proceed to paying with paypal - this will ensure you will get your correct access automatically.participant (includes a RC video download link) - 320 EUR / cca 350 USD |
in case you already have the DVD, choose this participant option - 280 EUR / cca 306 USD |

Finally joined!!!! I hoping my topic worked as it’s going to take a while to work it all out. Probably longer than teaching contacts. Ha ha
Hm, no, I don’t see your topic… Make sure you are on this page: https://www.lolabuland.com/forums/forum/running-contacts-class-january-2015/students/ and then scroll down, write toni&etc. as a topic title and then your introduction in next box and click “submit” -- that’s all!
Hi, I have registered as an auditor in RC-class, is it possible to upgrade to participant?
When trouble arrive I see the advantage of posting videos 🙂
best regards Frøydis and Totiki
Hi, my puppy will be 6 months Next weekend 8th of February, could I join to running contact classes? Or it’s too late for us. Thanks
Yes, you can still join. You missed some weeks of feedback, but the class is on till May, so still plenty of time.
Hi Silvia!
I would really like to learn RC with my sheltie puppy but he is to young now. Do you also have a online class in summer? Or is this one the last for this year?
Thanks!
Next RC class probably starts in November. Hope that works for you!
Yes, very cool! Then I will join this class 😀 thank you!
HI,
I just joined as auditor ( having got your dvd and realised i really need to see as much as possible to get my eye in).
I know I am totally late, but could I upgrade ( will get carpet tomorrow!) as feedback to ensure my striding is so useful.
Torrin just did your foundations -- he is a whippet, and loves to run!
Good Morning:
Looking forward to your latest DVD!
When will registration open for RC to begin in December?
Registration opens 3 weeks before the beginning -- so sometime in November. Hope to see you in class!
