= 12 weeks of feedback + 2 weeks of a break in between
- minimal equipment needed: 4 jumps, 2 tunnels, Foundations Revisited DVD, channel and see-saw (if working on weaves&see-saw as well)
- appropriate for all levels, total beginners to experienced dogs who could use better turns, more independence or speed
This class follows Foundations Revisited DVD. This is why the format has been changed from the original Foundations Fun class program:
What is different is the order, the emphasis, and the exercises and I also added some new topics, so the transition to Xtreme Foundations should be super smooth - this class certainly doesn't lack in providing MANY challenges. And definitely covers many topics!
This class is appropriate for all levels, from total beginners from 7 months on - and also for experienced agility dogs - I promise to keep everybody challenged!!! All feedback completely individual.
Minimum equipment needed: 2 tunnels, 4 jumps and if you want to work on see-saw and weaves as well: see-saw and stick to the ground and/or channel weaves (ideally both!). + Foundations Revisited DVD of course.
Topics covered: play, fetching, static toys, stays, restrains, warm ups and cool downs, tight turns, sends, pushes, threadles and serpentines, come to hand, verbal discrimination, obstacle discrimination, tunnel sends, traps and turns (hard and soft turns), extension and collection, different crosses and handling, see-saw, weaves, tire, long, double and wall jump, how to choose sequences and adjust them to your dog, how to handle mistakes and more.
We'll be starting with the first homework on October 10, but you can register and enter the classroom already now.
Some graduation videos examples:
Video length limitation per lesson is 10 minutes per lesson (in total that means 60 min in 12 weeks of the class).
The class has 6 lessons, one every 2 weeks = 12 weeks of feedback (+ 2 weeks of a catch-up break in between).

Hi Silvia. I signed Toby up as a repeater in foundations but it isn’t showing up in my classes and I can’t access the classroom
Ok, I fixed your access, so it should work now.
Hi Silvia, I think I know the answer, but wanted to confirm before registering. The last time I took the Foundations course was 2012!!! Crazy! It has changed a lot I think! So with my new dog I would sign up for the participant (includes foundations revisited video) $307 USD- since it has been so long and a different dog??
Thanks
Kim
Yes. You are only a repeater if doing it again with the same dog. Looking forward to meeting your youngster!
Hi Silvia, I bought the participant of foundation today. But I’d like to join the lesson from April 20 2023. Could you change my class to April? I’m sorry.
Ok, sure, I switched your access to the next class, so you will be able to access it once it opens. See you soon in class!
I’m confused about the Foundation class. I thought it started in September but it says now it already started April 20?
Is it too late to get in the class? My new puppy Prytania is 8 months old, just right!

Yes, Foundations class started on April 20 -- and then the next one starts on September 26. But yes, you can still join the current class! Looking forward to meeting your youngster!
Thanks Silvia for saying I could start Foundations late. But it is getting hot here already so I have decided to instead start Running Contacts with you in July. I can’t wait!!
Ok, great -- see you in RC class then! 🙂
Hello! It is already April 20. I would like to join foundations but I do not have DVD, and it started on the 9th.
Is it too late to join foundations class as a participant student. Thank you!
You can still join, no problem!
Hi Silvia, when should I register for the next foundations class. It says October on your “online classes page”. but the foundations page you can sign up now? When would be the right time?
October is correct -- the sign up is still for the April class that will be finishing soon. The registration for October class will open mid-September, so check back then. See you soon in class!
