Puppy Class

duration
6 lessons, one every 2 weeks
= 12 weeks of feedback + 2 weeks of a break in between
requirements
- no minimal or maximal age
- no equipment needed

This class is basically Puppy Class + former Advanced Tricks class in one. It can be done in small places, with no equipment, and is appropriate for every age, from small puppies on, for conditioning of active performance dogs and for keeping senior dogs happy and fit. - We adjust the exercises as needed. It's never too young or too old to learn! There are plenty of challenges also for adult dogs who know many tricks already, with emphasis on verbal discrimination and conditioning. So yes, there are some extras to the normal Puppy Class program now!

The class promotes the development of physical and mental skills, helps them to learn how to learn, how to use their mind and bodies, builds great body awareness, balance and strength. It's not only beneficial for puppies, but also for active agility dogs or retired dogs to keep them busy, fit and young.

    Silvia,
Will all the tricks covered in the movies be learned in this pyppyclass? Looks amazing and many 🙂

Yes, pretty much all those tricks are covered in Puppy Class as well! -- It’s amazing how fast they can learn once they get the system of shaping!

    Hi Silvia,

I am getting a new puppy but he will only just be 9 weeks old when this course starts and I would of only had him 5 days. Is this to soon or quick to do this course with him. With my current dogs I just didn’t play enough and play is not big in our life. I don’t want this to happen with this puppy, I want it to be play play and more play with him in general and in training.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Karen Johnston.

That’s great timing to start! There are some even younger puppies in a class as well, so no worries, you can join and then of course work at your own rate -- they usually catch up really quickly!

I have signed up and put myself on the forum but I have a question re the Puppy Diary. Is that a DVD that will be posted or is it a download? I am hoping its a DVD as my internet is really slow and I don’t know if it would handle a large download. So looking forward to this though, its going to be so much fun.

    • LoLaBu October 20, 2015 at 13:04 Log in to Reply

It’s a download -- the link was sent to you in confirmation mail after payment. Try to download it and if you can’t get it to work, send me an e-mail and I’ll send a DVD.

All good, I received the email and have downloaded it, I will watch it tomorrow. Thanks so much, this will be great as I will be able to get everything I need before Scooter arrives and we will be ready to go. How exciting.

Great! Perfect timing of the class for your pup!

My puppy will not be coming home until he is 8 weeks old, at the end of November. Would you recommend that I audit the class?

    • LoLaBu October 24, 2015 at 23:29 Log in to Reply

Yes, that’s one option. We do have some other people with puppies coming home later as well, it’s usually possible to catch up… -- but sometimes not of course.

How exactly does this work? I’ve never done an online class

    • LoLaBu November 3, 2015 at 10:32 Log in to Reply

By registering, you get the access to the classroom where I post a new homework every two weeks and where everybody is posting their videos of the tasks and questions and I’m commenting videos and answering questions.
