Online classes

On line classes proved to give GREAT results, better as any seminar, as I can provide feedback on the whole training process - and give you immediate feedback on a training session you just did, so you have all the answers before next session.

Next classes to start:
Xtreme - February 2, Foundations - April 20, Puppy/Tricks - June 1, Running Contacts - July 20

Beyond Foundations, Handling and Graduates are ongoing classes, so you can join at any time.

Xtreme Foundations

Beyond Foundations

Puppy

Foundations

Running Contacts

Handling

Graduates

3 different prices
1. participants - post videos, ask questions
2. auditors - ask questions, see all the material, don't post videos
3. repeaters - post videos, took the same class before
Why are our classes the best?
1. Very fast feedback to everything you post - on average in 5 hours, so before your next session.
2. Personal touch - I know all my students by name and remember their whole training history.
3. You keep the access to all the material for ever, only commenting is closed after the end of the class

    Hi Silvia,
I have a 3 yo sheltie that has been struggling with complications due to a broken leg as a puppy. Finally now after a patella surgery in august he seems to be alright but due to he probably didn’t trust his knee even if the patella seems alright when having it checked he is quite insecure when jumping on straight lines in extension. With collection it is not a problem. He is done with rehab and want to give him a fresh start with jumping. I saw some videos where you used a target for help with take off which I did find very interesting. Is there an online class in the near future I can take to be introduced to that method and work with jumping skills? He has pretty good foundation skills otherwise but we could always benefit from more foundation work 🙂

Glad that he is o.k. now! And yes, we use a mat for jumping in Foundations when needed, so you are welcome to join that (starting on April 2) and we can then either focus on just jumping or work on other exercises as well -- it’s up to you!

    Hello Silvia,

do you remember Rasta and me?
We had to quit last x-treme online class. But now Rasta is really fit, with lots of physio and strengthening exercises he is doing well again, and we really like to take the x-treme class again.
    Can you register me?

Thx in advance. We are really looking forward, working with you again.
    Many greetings!

Of course I remember! So happy to hear he is all back!!! I checked and you have the access already, so you will be able to enter the class once it opens mid-February.

Hi Silvia, When does the registration for your foundations class open?

    • LoLaBu February 6, 2019 at 19:12 Log in to Reply

      It opens on March 19!

    Hello Silvia,
when will start the next foundation clasa after the April class?
Jack will be 6 month at the Beginning of April. That’s to young.

    Regards Cindy

Next Foundations should start end of September. So you can wait till then -- or start now and take it easy -- for a smaller breed, 6 months could work.

    Hello Silvia,

I started the Puppy Class in Nov 2017 with my puppy Yondu, but unfortunately could not continue the class and only got as far as writing our introduction on the forum before we couldn’t continue 🙁
I have a new pup now who is 4 months old and was wondering if I could take that class with him instead? I think you have it starting in June? Would you be able to register us for it?

Thank you, I really hope I can work my new youngster with you again and successfully complete the course this time!

Ah, you would need to tell me sooner to switch your access to next class -- it would be no problem then! But at this point, it counts as auditing -- so you are a repeater for next session and can take a lower price option.

Ok thank you Silvia -- I will do that

    Hi Silvia

I am contemplating taking a Handling class. I am well aware that Vivid is much more talented than my Handling skills. Since you have watched me through 3 levels of foundation classes, do you recommend Handling level I or II for us? I’m not sure yet, but I might be looking at back surgery. I want to make sure I understand the class description. If I start a class and then have to lay out for a couple of months, can I pick up where left off?

    Thanks

    Suzi & Vivid

Yes, you can do the courses at any point, no problem to take a longer break in between. -- BUt still keeping fingers crossed the surgery won’t be needed!!! Handling II would be perfectly o.k. for you two! And for more basic set ups, Beyond is a great choice as well (also without time limitations).

Hi Silvia, I would like to keep working on Foundations exercises with Emmie because we still have a lot to go through. But is Beyond Foundations good for her or should I wait until Extreme opens instead to just focus on the Foundations stuff? I have my older trialing dog that I was considering signing up for some handling…what would be the best class for him? He’s my experienced and main trial dog.

    • LoLaBu July 8, 2019 at 10:45 Log in to Reply

Yes, I think a combination of more work on Foundations + Beyond would be a good option for her. Beyond is basically just wraps, threadles and pushes in various presentations and scenarios -- great for generalization. For your other dog, I think all -- Beyond, Xtreme and Handling would be appropriate.

    Hi Silvia
Zeb and I are back for August RC -- looking forward to feedback again -- I’ve signed on as repeater as he’s same dog -- I think that’s ok?
Do I need to do anything on the aug 19 rc forum at all?
    Many thanks,
    Helen and Zeb

That’s correct yes, you’re a repeater! And yes, you need to open your topic… -- and then start posting there once the class starts!

Silvia, can I join the class with working spot next week? That would work best for us. I will be out of town for the week and can get back next week and join. WE have been working our mat work and have video to help us not be too far behind.

Sure, no problem to join then! See you in class! 🙂
