Online classes

On line classes proved to give GREAT results, better as any seminar, as I can provide feedback on the whole training process - and give you immediate feedback on a training session you just did, so you have all the answers before next session.

Next classes to start:
Xtreme - February 2, Foundations - April 20, Puppy/Tricks - June 1, Running Contacts - July 20

Beyond Foundations, Handling and Graduates are ongoing classes, so you can join at any time.

Xtreme Foundations

Beyond Foundations

Puppy

Foundations

Running Contacts

Handling

Graduates

3 different prices
1. participants - post videos, ask questions
2. auditors - ask questions, see all the material, don't post videos
3. repeaters - post videos, took the same class before
Why are our classes the best?
1. Very fast feedback to everything you post - on average in 5 hours, so before your next session.
2. Personal touch - I know all my students by name and remember their whole training history.
3. You keep the access to all the material for ever, only commenting is closed after the end of the class

    Hello !

I’d like to register my beauceron (she’s 8 months old for now) to the next foundation class, but we planned to go on vacation until mid august (approximately)… Is this problematic for this class ?

    Thanks for your answer,

    Cécile.

Not a problem at all, the class most likely starts on August 10 and it’s no problem if you miss some days, you can post any time.

    Hi
Is the registration for the next foundation class is open?

    • LoLaBu May 24, 2015 at 21:56 Log in to Reply

No, registration only opens 3-4 weeks before the beginning… But I switched your access to next class now.

    hi there
I would like to join your next RC class. Can I register and buy your DVD now so I can get myself prepared?
    Thanks
    Sophie

Hi! You can buy the DVD now yes, but registration only opens about 3 weeks before the beginning of the class.

    Hi
I am trying to register for the foundation clas but they are charging me shipping. Is this correct?
    Thanks

    Kathy Collins

    • LoLaBu July 21, 2015 at 16:38 Log in to Reply

Sorry for the confusion, but shipping is on the receipt just because of problems with Paypal that can’t sort that out, so we had to set the class 5e cheaper and leave the shipping alone to equal it out -- so the price is still as advertised and the shipping is on it just because of bad PayPal customer service… -- Sorry about that.

OK I just sent it anyway — One can’t get too upset about $5
    Thanks

    • LoLaBu July 21, 2015 at 21:55 Log in to Reply

No worries, 5e are not charged extra, we lowered class price for those 5e, so the total is exactly like it has always been and as it is advertised.

Love your classes -- I have a new border collie 11 months old now --
I took foundations in 2013 so that is what I’ve been using for training
I’m trying to decide if I should sign up as a participant this time -- anything new ?

    Thanks

    • LoLaBu August 8, 2015 at 10:04 Log in to Reply

The program as such is the same, but I do give more extra exercises where needed. However, it’s mostly a question of if you want feedback on your trainings or not -- if not really, then no reason to take it again. Most people take it again because dogs are so different and they like to get help with the new one as well.

Hi Silvia! My friend just got a 5 month old papillon puppy. She was thinking of doing puppy class in November, but it almost seems better to do foundations with bars on the ground now, then puppy class in November because she won’t be able to do any foundation work come winter here in Maine. I can help her get started with some puppy tricks stuff now, too. What do you think?
Also, I was thinking of starting Bim in foundations, but maybe starting a month late? We certainly haven’t worked through all the puppy class assignments, but he has a pretty good base already. He will be four months next week.
    Thanks, Amy

Yes, I think 5 months old small dog breed should work perfectly o.k. -- adding height is the easiest part anyway, so she can focus on all the rest. 4 months however is really young, so you would need to start later and probably won’t be able to go through the whole program then… As long as you know that + make sure to avoid too many repetitions, you can join. -- I would normally say no, but since I know you don’t tend to rush things, I think it can work.

OK, cool. I don’t know what her pup has had for training, she is picking her up on Friday.
Yeah, I was thinking with Bim of signing up late, like first of September and he will be 5 months by then. Oh and definitely don’t plan going through it all, for sure, LOL!!! He’s quite mature for his age, I think. Kind of amazing, really, how quick he picks things up and wants to work!

Sounds like a good plan yes. And yes, some puppies keep surprising with their will to work work work!

I am going to register for the puppy class that is starting in November when registration opens (my pup will be 4 months in November) Will there be a foundations class early 2016 that we can follow into?

    Thanks!!

    • LoLaBu August 25, 2015 at 13:06 Log in to Reply

Yes, next Foundations start in early April, so that will be good timing for your pup! See you in class!

Hi Silvia, what age do you think is appropriate to start slalom training with a young dog? When would you start to close the channel? Thanks for advice! Verena

    • LoLaBu October 1, 2015 at 22:12 Log in to Reply

I start with channel at about 6-7 months, but of course avoid too many repetitions and only close it up completely when they’re close to 14 months.
