Online classes

Online classes proved to give GREAT results, better than any seminar, as I can provide feedback on the whole training process - and give you immediate feedback on a training session you just did, so you have all the answers before the next session.

Next classes to start:
Foundations - October 18, Puppy/Tricks - November 13, RC Repeaters - November 27, Xtreme - mid-January

Beyond Foundations, Handling, and Graduates are ongoing classes, so you can join at any time.

Xtreme Foundations

Beyond Foundations

Puppy

Foundations

Running Contacts

Handling

Graduates

3 different prices
1. participants - post videos, ask questions
2. auditors - ask questions, see all the material, don't post videos
3. repeaters - post videos, took the same class before
Why are our classes the best?
1. Very fast feedback to everything you post - on average in 5 hours, so before your next session.
2. Personal touch - I know all my students by name and remember their whole training history.
3. You keep the access to all the material for ever, only commenting is closed after the end of the class

Hi Silvia. I am trying to figure out which class would be best for Fizz. He took the running contact, puppy tricks, and foundation classes and is now 18 months old but is not ready to compete. I have not put it all together. I don’t think I have done enough course work. Which class do you think I should enroll him in? Redo of foundations or running contacts? Or beyond foundations or graduates? I feel like I have so much to train still! Thank you for your help. I think he is getting close to be ready to compete but there is still a lot he needs to learn…

If his contacts are good, then I see no need for another RC class. You could do Xtreme though? Or another Foundations yes and just focus on putting it all together. Beyond would be good too -- but it doesn’t include any contacts, in case you want sequencing with contacts included… Looking forward to more of Fizz, he is just amazing!!!

Thanks, no his contacts are not completely trained I need to train all exits, and entries. But I guess I know what needs to be done. I just need to do it. Let me look at X-treme. It sounds too difficult, but maybe I can just try to break it down into what he can do. I will enter either X-treme or foundations again…Thanks again 🙂

Sounds like a good plan as you can do some RC in Foundations as well. And there are really never too much of foundations!

    Hi Silvia,
I just wanted to tell you that Kip and I entered our first competition last week and Kip’s contacts were great! Also his focus and enthusiasm continues to improve and he didn’t lose focus once at the trial! I’m so pleased! Super Kip

Yay, so happy to hear the good news! Go Kip!!!

    Hi Silvia,
Like Victoria Jones and Fizz. Bug is about 16 months. We have taken Puppy Tricks, Foundations, and RDW.
Bug is at full height DW (and A-Frame) and her hits are great with straight on and straight off (and decent with soft turns).
We haven’t mastered all entries and exits. Discriminations at the end are not good at all, she takes whatever is straight ahead.
Would you recommend another RDW class, or Extreme Foundations?
    Thanks,
    Ruth Thompson

I would recommend Xtreme to first master discriminations away from DW -- the transition is easy then. Looking forward to more of Bug -- she is sooo cool!!!

Hi Silvia! I just joined Foundations and still haven’t got access. Perhaps it take a while to get access and I’m just too eager? All the best, Erica

    • LoLaBu May 25, 2023 at 11:57 Log in to Reply

Welcome back! Access should be automatic and immediate, but maybe you weren’t logged in when paying… Anyway, I fixed it now so it should work now.

        Yay, thanks!!

    Hello Silvia,

I’d like to sign up for the “running contacts” class (as a participant). On the link below, it is written that one session is scheduled for July 27 :
    https://www.lolabuland.com/online-classes/
Unfortunately, I can’t find the registration page. Is it just because it’s too soon yet or did I missed something ?

PS: I’m sorry to ask such a basic question, but this is the first time I’ve registered for such a class and I don’t want to miss the registration deadline (if there is one).

    • Romain LELONG May 31, 2023 at 09:44 Log in to Reply

Sorry for the question ! I found the answer myself (the registration opens on July 7)
      https://www.lolabuland.com/2023/05/18/running-contacts-class-graduation-winners-are/

      Looking forward to join 😉

Yes, exactly -- you can only register then. See you soon in class!

Hi Silvia! I did some online classes with my malinois, but next month my border collie puppy will arrive (around the 22 of july). I would like to do the puppy class with her but since the puppy class started 13 of june, is better for me to wait the next class or join the one that is alredy started?

    • LoLaBu June 23, 2023 at 09:21 Log in to Reply

Congratulations on your puppy! But yeah, not the best timing for the class… Maybe we can do it that way that you register for June class -- and then once it closes, send me videos by e-mail for the weeks you missed.

    Hello Silvia,

I’ve registered for the “Running Contacts July 2023” as a participant + video but I haven’t received a link to download the video.

    Will I get it later?

    • LoLaBu July 5, 2023 at 10:26 Log in to Reply

Yes -- it’s sent manually, so there is a bit of a delay. But you should have it by now.

        Thank you very much !

        I’ve got it 😉

Hi Silvia, we did your running contacts course in January 2022, but it’s not listed in my previous classes -- just the July 2021. We think Ace adjusts her gait when she is running to a tunnel rather than a jump and I’d love to see the videos I previously submitted.

Many thanks, Ismay (on behalf of Ian and Ace!)

    • LoLaBu August 30, 2023 at 11:59 Log in to Reply

I checked and you do have both accesses, but on Ian’s account, so log in with that and you will see both.

      • LoLaBu August 30, 2023 at 12:00 Log in to Reply

I hope Ace is doing well!

Thank you Silvia, I bet Ian has forgotten his password! I thought everything had been entered under my account! Can I private message or email you re Ace?
