Hi everbody, i was not a Great “Video Poster” but i learned so much from you all, and especially from Sylvia. Trank you very much. Also i enjoyed Looking all your graduation Videos! Really wow!

I’ve got two questions: how long can we Post our Videos? And can i show two dogs (i’ ve learned a Lot of Tricks, but Not both of my dogs learned Every Trick). Maybe you can’t See when ist is an other dog (they are really Good Double)!

There is no time limitation for graduation videos. And yes, you can include more dogs 🙂

    Hi Silvia!
Our video is about more where we are at than what we can do!

    My Movie-7/8

When Biji started this class she was even afraid of the tunnel. Now she charges through it! She has gained so much confidence and has found out how fun it is to learn new things! And I have learned that I can train my dog. Shaping is such an excellent method of making both the dog and trainer think!

We will be taking our new skills to other projects
-- Stays with distraction and recalls will be used in Field training
-- Positioning, body awareness and heeling will help us in our Obedience training. And of course we can use it all when we start Agility :))

We will be redoing the course so we can fine tune our tricks! Feel like I just scratched the surface of all this information!

And the video we would like is “Heeling”
    Cheers, Susan and Biji

I’m so excited for you that Biji has more confidence and has discovered the joys of learning. It’s hard when they are fearful. Good luck with her continued training.

It’s taken me so long to finally get my graduation video finished. I had some computer issues and ‘life stresses’ that sucked the life out of me for a bit. But, we’re back! Fi and I still have to work on some of these tricks but we’re on our way and there is no rush. We enjoyed the class as usual! 🙂

    Fi PC Graduation video

Sylvia, you are certainly a great trainer but great trainers aren’t always great teachers who can inspire others to go beyond their limits. You are a great teacher as well. I think you should share your dog’s name because you are “Simply the best!”.

Thank you for all your help! In time will be try your Handling II class but I have some skills to work on first. I have all your DVDs but would like to have another of the Running contacts, please.

    • Nell Wirtes May 9, 2013 at 22:18 Log in to Reply

That should be Silvia…you’d think I wouldn’t make that mistake after so many classes!! 🙂

    • LoLaBu May 9, 2013 at 23:34 Log in to Reply

Thanks 🙂 -- It’s easy with such great students!!! And wow, Fi sure mastered many tricks!!! It makes it all even more impressive because of her size -- she sure doesn’t let it stop her! What a great figure 8 backwards and side legs already!

No new DVDs planned for now, so I’m sending another RC video and you can send it to a friend…

      • Nell Wirtes May 10, 2013 at 00:28 Log in to Reply

Thanks! I wanted to send it to Fi’s breeder so she can see her puppy working hard (and flying off) on the DVD! 🙂

That was delightful! I love Dobes and you can see the special relationship you share in this video. Well done!!

Thank you Kismetrats! She sure is a fun girl to have in my life. 🙂

    Hi everyone,

I just want to say thank you so much for this really fun class Silvia. It made me fall in love with training my dogs all over again. I had used primarily luring and targeting before this class and had never shaped behaviours like this. I love it!! 🙂

I tried to use a variety of old and new clips so much of this you will have seen before but I hope you enjoy it. You will notice that Nibbler wags his tail the entire way through it. Look out for his cool black & white skateboard that my Father-in-Law handmade for him -- it’s only 30cm long!

Thank you also to my classmates for your videos that taught me so much. I’m loving your graduation videos too. 🙂 Nibbler and I will continue to work on these tricks to get them all properly on cue and I am planning to join Foundations in October. Hopefully I may see some of you there…

I would like the Heeling DVD as Nibbler’s Graduation gift, you are very generous. Thanks so much, we’ll be back. 🙂

Awww -- that was just too cute!!! And really well mastered tricks -- look at that heeling! Too funny what a long way it is for him from one side to another 🙂 And what a cool skateboard! Can I put the video also on a website for others to see -- it’s just too cute not to share smart little Nibbler and his wagging tail!

    • Penny Spencer May 12, 2013 at 01:59 Log in to Reply

Thank you for your kind comments. You can share Nibbler’s video wherever you’d like, I’m very proud of him. 🙂 He really loves the training and both of us have had so much fun. I was so surprised when my Father-in-law gave us the tiny skateboard, it was just perfect. Thanks again for everything. Nibbler sends you waggy-tailed Chihuahua cuddles.

    • LoLaBu May 12, 2013 at 10:49 Log in to Reply

Great, thank you! I’m sure he will bring a smile on a face of everybody seeing his video 🙂

Here is Java’s graduation video. We didn’t learn all of the tricks yet but she is still 9 months so plenty of time 🙂 These tricks have given her so much confidence. Before, if I walked her into a classroom with strange people and dogs she would lose herself to barking in fear at everyone and everything that is scary. Two weeks ago she performed her repertoire inside a circle of people and dogs, the star demo dog who was able to hang out and watch the other students and dogs learn about clicker and shaping for the first time. She was relaxed and not worried or stressed by the environment.

Thank you Silvia -- what a great class, of course I am not going far -- I’ll see you in lesson 2 with Slice 😀

Ooh nearly forgot -- because this is Java’s class, I think Ready-Steady-Go would be the most appropriate graduation DVD for her 😀

      • Kismetrats May 12, 2013 at 14:43 Log in to Reply

What a huge accomplishment for Java to have so much more confidence, you must be very proud of her. Loved her side legs with the head tilt -- too cute. 🙂

    • LoLaBu May 12, 2013 at 11:53 Log in to Reply

Great job with all the tricks! Beautiful heeling, too funny side legs 🙂 and really cool sit up! And even better -- yay for more confidence!!! So happy to hear she is dealing with different environments so well now -- and it will only get better, I always forget how very young she still is! Looking forward to follow her progress in Foundations as well!

And yes, I hope to see more videos of Slice as well, I was sure missing her videos!

    Silvia,

Thank you for this wonderful journey. We still have work to do before our tricks are perfected, but you have made this so much fun for everyone. It’s been inspiring to watch classmates learn the tricks and the puppies grow more in each video. You have helped Libby and me with your creative solutions to our problems. :-) I will see you in Foundations class.

Libby says we need the Heeling DVD. Thank you for the generous gift.
