    Hi Silvia,
This is our Lesson 6 videos because it is still April 28 in Canada!. I still want to do my graduation video, so we will post something shortly. I would love to have the heeling video. Thank you, so much!

The reason I timed the class as I did was because I started my April camp (meaning 9+ hours of work with students coming here from the whole Europe) on 29th April (my time). Anyway, in short: the heeling is definitely getting better&better and she sure figured out ball rolling real fast! The hugs, shape with a pole first, so you can keep your hands away and she can focus on behaviour. Stand up to sit up, help her so she can lean on your hand. Sit up to down and back, try with you kneeling down to see if that gives you more direct/faster transitions.

You sure mastered many tricks! What a cool duration with side legs already and too cute crosses! Sending you a video right now! See you in Foundations!

Thank you! I’ve got plenty of time to watch the video this week. So sad we can’t use the catching up break for training because of his injured leg. Hopefully we can do some training this weekend again. He’s not limping that much anymore.
The catching up breaks are perfect I think. 🙂

        • LoLaBu April 30, 2013 at 21:17 Log in to Reply

I hope he is all healed soon! Don’t rush it though and wait until he is using a paw with all weight without painkillers before letting him run again.

Time has gone so quickly and now we graduate. I really have enjoyed this class. First time for me, as I teach the dog tricks (something else than common sit, down, stand and heel), but definitively not last 🙂 I have learn so much and I have been amazed how young puppy can learn so fast and how she can focus so intensively to the tasks.

It have been really fun to follow all the classmates and see how they progress. Good luck to you all and probably we will meet another class. I continue with Esteri’s mum in foundations and also RC class. And I’m quite sure that Silvia will see me and Esteri advance trick class next winter. Summer time I also do foundation work with her.

And here you can see what we learn during this class:

    PC_graduation

I can’t wait to see you graduation video. I hope all of you don’t use record company EMI’s artists music, because those video’s will be blocked out here in Finland, so I don’t able to see those 🙁
Sofia I unfortunately can’t see you video 🙁

    • Mona Liljegren April 29, 2013 at 08:47 Log in to Reply

And if I really can choose any of Silvia’s DVD I want, I would like to have RC. Thanks so much!

Silvia thank you so much for everything you gave to this class. I had a fantastic time training my puppy through so many of these behaviors. I also had a great time watching everyone else grow up and progress. Although we did not train everything on the lists, we have made huge progress, Hi-Fi’s enthusiasm through this process has grown so much. He REALLY likes to play and train with me now more than he ever has.

Hi-Fi is very floppy right now so I am holding off on some of the other behaviors that require more balance and finesse;)

I am looking forward to signing up for foundations next time around. If we get to choose a download I would love the Foundations one.

Thanks again for helping keep agility fun, there is too much serious and control out there, I know I can always count on you to keep it all in perspective.

    Here is our Graduation video:

Oh, I forgot feet in a bowl and his baby handstand…… We learned so much I could not get it all on video;)

      • LoLaBu April 30, 2013 at 21:23 Log in to Reply

He sure did quite some growing 🙂 -- and learning! Love his happy attitude to everything! Great backing up and pivoting! Video sent.

        • Tammy Moody May 1, 2013 at 16:01 Log in to Reply

Silvia thank you so much for the video download, an amazing gift! Hi-Fi and I will continue to work on all of out half trained tricks from class , we have MANY of them.

When he was little (not so much anymore) he lacked enthusiasm in training so it was not much fun to train, so we played instead. Now training is just playing for Hi-Fi and it is much more fun for both of us. Thank you for fostering this attitude.

How long will we have access to this page? I would like to continue to work on everything and refer to our homework and your advice.

          • LoLaBu May 1, 2013 at 20:44 Log in to Reply

You keep the access for ever. I’m sure training him now, with the attitude he is showing now, will be extra easy 🙂

    Hi,
I have the question about jackpots.
I normally use click -- food (one piece). If I want to jackpot I give more food (three or four pieces) and smile and say YES or whatever. But I must do it very calm because everything loud or too energetic would overdrive my Bubu:o). BUT I don´t know what to do if I use toy. Reward is click -- thrown toy (not very far away but it still has some distance) but Bubu usually takes this toy for 10 -- 20second and plays with it alone or chews it than she takes it and return. So I can not tug with her imediately or feed her. How can I jackpot in this situation?

    • LoLaBu May 1, 2013 at 20:46 Log in to Reply

Maybe try to get faster returns? -- With throwing less fun toy and then recalling with her favourite toy and play with that one then? And of course, praise her as well.

here’s my graduation video with Lucky. we did cik and cap and it went very well.
I would like to have the video from running contacts
    thanks for the great lessons!

Very cool cik&cap! But try to film all the tricks you did within this class for graduation video! It’s just the formality for those I know how well they did during the class already, but well, the rule is the rule 🙂

Hi Silvia, I am behind in the last 2 lessons because of my work and the bad weather. Now that we have nice weather, I will continue outdoors and will also start on agility using your foundation DVD exercises. I enjoyed the class and so did Tchino. He just loves it when I grab the clicker and gives me a happy “Woof”!

    • LoLaBu May 3, 2013 at 22:41 Log in to Reply

Great! And yay for good weather! I hope we get to see Tchino’s graduation video!!!
