Thanks Emi! I was having withdrawal from puppy class and it was great to see a video again! Loved Emi putting the rings on the pole. Really clever. Have a great summer,

Nancy. Niah couldn’t put bowl to another bowl for long time but he finally realized that gently putting down the object works! he started put any object to object easily now 😉 We are still practice all of these tricks and using the skills for new tricks! Oh-By the way, we are in Australia, it is winter here and currently Niah is cold weather puppy like Nero 🙂

At least I had time to put Furi’s video on web 🙂 I didn’t tape all the tricks

And I like to work with thinking tricks next

    • LoLaBu June 26, 2011 at 00:41 Log in to Reply

Well, that’s sure plenty of tricks! And I’m impressed by how amazingly well they’re finalized, you sure mastered them all! Thinking Tricks on a way!

Excellent video! Furi has such amazing focus with all those distractions. He is so enthusiastic…fun to watch 🙂

What a funny little muppet! Wow, great video! The end made me laugh 🙂

Wow!! Like Camilla said: “such amazing focus with those distractioncs!!! ”
Great backwards weaves and heeling!! Really love the end and beginning of your video when he got in/ and left the suitcase!! 😀 Will you two also join the AF class?

Wonderful such a cool little dog. I am falling in love with these little guys!

    • Teija June 28, 2011 at 12:05 Log in to Reply

      Thanks 🙂

Furi is waiting for surgery. He broked his ligament in his left knee and also Legg-Perthes was found 🙁 So, we have to skip AF and RC courses for now. But I will audit those courses or train with my older dogs.

      • Jennifer June 28, 2011 at 17:44 Log in to Reply

Oh, no, Teija, that’s terrible. I am so sorry to hear that. I hope Furi will get well soon!

      • Nancy June 28, 2011 at 18:28 Log in to Reply

So sorry to hear this. I wish him the best recovery and of course with all of the skills he knows the rehabilitaion will be fun and easy for him.

I am sorry Teija, I hope Furi gets over soon and you too can start training again as new!

Finally! We have a video, I must apoligize as my computer was in the hospital 🙁 I lost most of the files i was using ..
This video was done all in one day and in no way resembles perfection!
Hopefully it shows enough of what we worked on.
As you can see we are still having issues with heeling, any suggestions would be great.

    • LoLaBu June 28, 2011 at 22:30 Log in to Reply

Wow, Play looks all grown up now! Great job with tricks, I just love his “peeing” style”! 🙂 For pivoting, you very often click after he stops… He seems to know to move his hind feet, but doesn’t keep it up, probably because you click for standing still so often… But he probably knows enough that you could skip a step and go directly to “follow my leg” around the object.

Let me know which video you want!

      • Valori June 28, 2011 at 23:19 Log in to Reply

Thanks! I will try to click movement more. I was noticing that Iwas clicking just a litle late too
I would love the Thinking Tricks

Wow, GREAT job with all the tricks!!! Very cool free handstand and side legs and I see getting there with the frog too! Too cute with picking up an object to hold it! VERY tight with cik&cap! I see our auditors did a really great job too! Let me know which video you want to get!

    • camilla July 1, 2011 at 12:24 Log in to Reply

Well done!! Great to finally ‘meet’ you! She is so sweet -- Yes, love the free handstand, her bottle holding and of course the walking on your toes 🙂

Wow great job! see ya in AF.

Wow Susanne and Alice! So nice to finally meet you two!! I loved watching the video! Sooo cute how she is walking on your feet! See you in our next class! Jonina and Jin

thank you Silvia! It was a great class. We had very much fun, and learned a lot. I would like tricks for better thinking skills

  8. susanne July 1, 2011 at 14:33 Log in to Reply

thank you Camilla, Alice is very cute, I love her very much, but sometimes she exasperates me with her anxiety and insecurity.
We had a better hold the bottle scene on the camera, but my doughter, who cut the video, was a bit to unpatient, and cut it at the wrong moment. Walking on my toes is Alices favourite exercise, she always wants to do it, when she feels a little insecure, and she often does….

  9. camilla July 2, 2011 at 04:22 Log in to Reply

Gracie and i have finally made our graduation video. We took our tricks on the road to try to do them in as many different locations as possible. Unfortunately, I forgot to do lots of them -- i should have taken a list with me 🙂
We had so much fun!! Silvia, thanks for being such a brilliant teacher 🙂

For everyone who can’t see this version -- the songs were ‘just the way you are’ & ‘Girls just wanna have fun’ (Jonina -- sorry for stealing Jin’s happy birthday song!)

Wow great job! I have a friend that has just emigrated and she is in Melbourne but have have no idea quite where and her dogs x 3 come out of quarantine next sat 7th after 7 long months. She would love to find a club and or friends for agility perhaps you would be so kind as to help please, that would be so awesome. chat soon and see ya in AF.

          • camilla July 3, 2011 at 00:46 Log in to Reply

Thanks Alicia. Wow, 7 months in quarantine! How have the dogs coped? I thought it was only sposed to be 1 month now. Australia is so paranoid about border security and diseases.
Yes, definitely tell your friend to get in touch with me. I actually live in geelong which is a bit over an hour from melb, emi lives in Melbourne city and she goes to a great agility club there-just near melb airport. There is a very long waiting list so she might like to put her name down now (close to 1 yr wait!@)

Thanks Silvia! We would love a copy of your new DVD when it is released. Thank you so much, it is very generous of you to give us a graduation present 🙂 I ‘met’ mini grace that is in your new tricks class -- Sailor looks like G’s baby. I started looking at AF class yesterday and i couldn’t believe how many posts there are. I have no idea how you keep up with all the posts from all your classes! 🙂

        • LoLaBu July 3, 2011 at 15:22 Log in to Reply

Yeap, it’s a very active class as most participants come from puppy classes and are already braver 🙂 -- My puppy III students on the other hand are so far so quiet I don’t even know I have them 🙂 Sailor sure looks fun! Please remind me when the video is out!

    • Jennifer July 3, 2011 at 19:46 Log in to Reply

Oh, Camilla, Fantastic!! Wow, what great focus and attention on you! I held my breath a couple of times because I thought the pedestrians would step on Grace! And of course very accomplished tricks!! Riding on the scooter-skateboard was so cool!

      • LoLaBu July 4, 2011 at 00:40 Log in to Reply

Oh, yes, that was my favourite one too!!!

      • camilla July 4, 2011 at 07:16 Log in to Reply

Oh, thanks Jennifer! Yes, watching the vid -- those pedestrians were awefully close, but Grace’s biggest worry is probably her clumsy mum standing on her 🙂 I’m glad you liked the scoote-skate -- she quite fancies herself riding along. I have really funny footage where i am carrying it along & she is so desperate to ride it that she jumps her front legs onto it while it is still in my arms.
Because she is heavy it’s actually really difficult for her to balance on it -- when she knocks it over, I’m trying to teach her to pick it up by the handle and get on again (rather than pivoting on it!). A work in progress 🙂

    • Eva July 4, 2011 at 12:29 Log in to Reply

I was looking forward to see your video guys… and you didnt let me down! :).
I love the way that the people are looking at the two of you….:)!!!
God I am really impress with the skate trick!! you two surpassed the rest of us for half a mile at least!!!
Looking forward to share again in AF…

      • camilla July 7, 2011 at 11:43 Log in to Reply

Thanks Eva, you are too sweet! When the policewoman first came over I thought i was in trouble! Turns out she just thought G was cute 🙂 We tried to get her to frisk Grace against the wall…thought it wld be hilarious but she wldn’t do it, thought she wld get in trouble
        See you in AF 🙂

  10. Jonina July 3, 2011 at 14:41 Log in to Reply

WOW CAMILLA AND GRACE!! I sure Loved it!!
Honestly, I had tears in my eyes from laughing when Grace did the “hug a friend” again! Soooooooooooo cute!
The first time you post that part I let it see to my colleagues, some familymembers and about everybody at our dog-school 😀 and they all laughed a lot and thought it was soooo cute 😀
I really hope one day we will meet you two!! I think you two are lots of fun!
    (Maybe once at Lolabuland :-D???)

Oh and ofcourse no sorry for the music!!! 😀 It’s such a beautiful song isn’t it! Every time I hear it I think of my sweet little girl!

About your question on Facebook: Yes Jin her mother “Toshi” belongs to friends of mine (Toshi is best friends with my other dog Ace :-D) and since we met the owners of Jin’s father they became great friends too! 😀
And mayyyyybe once we’ll have puppies from our Jin and if so you will be on top of the list 😀 😉
To be honest there a more people asking, but I’m afraid that I think most people are not good enough for a little Jin-puppy , maybe I should require them to join the puppyclass from Silvia 😀 😉 (and use a FRIENDLY and UNFORCED way to learn the dog things!, unfortunately they all dont think that way 🙁 )

    • LoLaBu July 3, 2011 at 23:39 Log in to Reply

Yeap, giving puppies in new homes must be very very hard… It’s good if you can have them all under supervision! I actually had somebody send me all her puppies that she won’t be able to see on weekly basis to Puppy III class 🙂

    • camilla July 4, 2011 at 07:36 Log in to Reply

Thanks Jonina for such a beautiful message!
That is v cool that the hug trick made you laugh so much 🙂 That is Grace’s #1 boyfriend, sprockett -- He can’t get enough of G’s hugs! Poor Niah is staying with us at the moment and is receiving hugs on a very regular basis!
We wld love to meet you guys -- definitely sounds like a date at Lolabuland. Imagine how good our cik/cap will be by then! What a pity Grace & Jin can’t have babies together -- how funny would they be!!!!!!
I’ve never asked anyone to get a puppy from their dog before but i think Jin is v special 🙂 Hopefully one day -- i need lots of time though to work on the quarantine issue. Unfortunately australia is so paranoid about border security..both for animals and refugees -- we seem to be obsessed w putting everyone in quarantine! I wld like to change things for the dogs and the people 🙂
I’ve also had lots of people ask about puppies from grace (i’m kinda relieved she is desexed bc it could be awkward saying no to so many people!) -- poor grace was desexed at 7 wks old by the breeder bf i got her 🙁
I think you should DEFINITELY make silvia’s puppy course a pre-requisite. Without a doubt!!!
      🙂

CAMILLA! I’m sorry I watched your video only now… I didn’t realize you had posted it. It’s awesome!! I LOVED IT!! Very good job!! Grace is too cute! 😉
