Graduation Foundations September 2014

Graduation Foundations September 2014

So this is it... As the class is ending, here is the place to send your summed up videos of what you've learned in past few months that we spent together. It was a really fun group, so this will be a memory page for this class that will stay open for ever.

Graduation videos are new for this class and will be done like this: you can post them any time, but gathering likes starts whenever it's posted. Whoever has the biggest number of likes (only "likes" on this website count - those given directly on YouTube and Facebook don't count to make it easier to track) by February 15 gets a free next class of their choice 🙂 - And the next three get a free download link to a training video of their choice!

    Hi Sylvia and classmates !
Time to send my foundations graduation videos.
I didn’t manage to mix it in one piece so I hope you wouldn’t mind it being in 6 parts :
    Part 1 : Tunnels
    Part 2 : Cik & Cap
    Part 3 : See-saw
    Part 4 : Serpentine
    Part 5 : Weaves
    Part 6 : Sequences
Don’t worry the sum of all last less than 10 minutes.
I would like to thank Sylvia so much !!! Jaya and I had an amazing fun for the last 3 months !
Jaya, my lovely border collie was only 7 months when we started in october and she became a great playfellow during this class.
It was so reassuring and rewarding to move forward, supported by Sylvia’s advices and comments, and we achieved more than I expected.
Sylvia, which classes would next suit better to our team ? Handling or Running contact ? Or both ? Thanks for this last advice !
Good bye everybody, I hope you will enjoy watching our videos as much as much as us making it !

Thank you Silvia for all your help during foundations and thank you to my classmates, I learned so much watching your videos and following your journeys. I learned 3 things from this course:
    1) How to connect with my dog and make sure we are together as a team on the course
    2) How to give him the information he needs when he needs it
    3) To accept where we are in learning about agility and to treasure every moment having fun with my wonderful little dog.
(Just 3 things but pretty important things!). I have tried to reflect that in my graduation video. Thank you for helping us on our journey 🙂

    • LoLaBu February 7, 2015 at 13:25 Log in to Reply

Definitely 3 most important things! You’ve done great job with Kanzi and I’m sure trials will just get easier&easier! Yay for that BIG trophy -- and to many more to come! 🙂

Didn’t get around to make the graduation film until now, but it’s very important to me to say a big THANK YOU, SILVIA! I’ve learned so much that I didn’t knew about foundation work, and I can truly say that this class has changed how Scott & I train, and given us a much better relationship with less frustration and more fun! So much looking forward to continue the work in handling class. Just waiting for the spring to come to Norway, so that we can train outside as much as we want again.
