Ta Daaa!

ta

So the first plan was to get a PyrShep as my next pup. But after several females ended empty and To's toe injury, I decided it might be a better plan to go with BC puppy first. Afterall, who wants to run in the same class with Le, right? 🙂 And from my Large dogs, Bu is now retired, Bi is almost 9 and will retire by the time next puppy starts trialing and To's agility will be very limited because of her injury.

So next plan was another puppy from To's mother... - But then I decided to breed To instead since Surprise Puppies made me see what a privilege it is to bond with them from day one and to watch them 24 hours a day. So I did all the tests, show ring training, got breeding licence and studied tons of pedigrees... - All that to find out that I don't seem to find a male that would be 1. - good match, 2. - safe health-wise and 3. - not related to To. - It actually just got more&more obvious I'm really looking for as To-like dog as possible...

So when an option to get her pretty-much-aunt arose, it only made sense to change the plan once more...

Wannahave The Original TaDa will be joining us mid-July. She has the same grandmum as To and her father is To's grandfather 🙂 She is one of these beauties (pink, yellow or orange) - we'll know more a bit later 🙂 Now grow fast little puppies and July - come soon!!!

They're 1 week today, but 1 day in this picture:

And while it's sure extra special to breed your own pup and I still hope I have the courage to do so one day - I actually feel a kind of relieved that someone else is doing all the hard work - it's sooo much easier to be responsible for just 1 puppy - vs. 7!

Pink, yellow or orange is about to win the lottery! Congrats to you and whichever is the lucky girl. Curious why you chose a girl?

Oh it’s easy -- I don’t spay/neuter, so having them all of the same sex makes life easier 🙂 And PyrSheps need to be girls to make sure they stay in Medium class and jump 40 rather as 60cm.

Ohhhh, congratulations! How exciting!! Oh, just a bit disappointed it’s not a pyrie, but still very cute, lucky puppy, what a cool family he is going to live in!
