Ta Daaa!
So the first plan was to get a PyrShep as my next pup. But after several females ended empty and To's toe injury, I decided it might be a better plan to go with BC puppy first. Afterall, who wants to run in the same class with Le, right? π And from my Large dogs, Bu is now retired, Bi is almost 9 and will retire by the time next puppy starts trialing and To's agility will be very limited because of her injury.
So next plan was another puppy from To's mother... - But then I decided to breed To instead since Surprise Puppies made me see what a privilege it is to bond with them from day one and to watch them 24 hours a day. So I did all the tests, show ring training, got breeding licence and studied tons of pedigrees... - All that to find out that I don't seem to find a male that would be 1. - good match, 2. - safe health-wise and 3. - not related to To. - It actually just got more&more obvious I'm really looking for as To-like dog as possible...
So when an option to get her pretty-much-aunt arose, it only made sense to change the plan once more...
Wannahave The Original TaDa will be joining us mid-July. She has the same grandmum as To and her father is To's grandfather π She is one of these beauties (pink, yellow or orange) - we'll know more a bit later π Now grow fast little puppies and July - come soon!!!
They're 1 week today, but 1 day in this picture:

And while it's sure extra special to breed your own pup and I still hope I have the courage to do so one day - I actually feel a kind of relieved that someone else is doing all the hard work - it's sooo much easier to be responsible for just 1 puppy - vs. 7!

Congratulations! So happy for you π
AAhh,how exciting. I wondered how long it would be. Really happy for you π
Ahhh CONGRATS!!!!! So exciting!! I feel the same way right now.. I have been looking for a similar dog to Vi at home here in Canada for maybe ~2018, and wow it’s a challenge.
Not easy at all!!! -- But still easier as with PyrSheps, argh!
Wow, how exciting news!! π Wish the cuties all the best for growing up! And a short waiting time to you… π
Puppy, how exciting!! Congrats!
Awww…a little Ta!!! π What a lucky pup! Congratulations! When I first saw the photo (before reading your post) I thought maybe these were To’s puppies as the mat they’re on looks the same as the one you sent in Toko’s sherpa bag! π But yes, MUCH easier to let someone else do all the hard work…and raise 1 instead of 7! π But the waaiitttting…hope the breeder sends you LOTS of photos & videos like you did with the Surprise Puppies! π Sure makes the waiting much easier!
Ha ha, no… -- it doesn’t work that fast π
Congratulations!
I’m looking forward to seeing little Ta in July!!
Oh YAY! I am so excited for you!!!
So happy for you!! Waiting can be hard :-p
And the Pyrshep will come one day too π
Yay!!! I’m so happy for you! And for the puppy, she sure holds the winning lottery ticket π You are more than welcome to bring her to Norway in October, you know, as a part of her socialization π
π Hm, not the best age to fly… -- too big for cabin and too sensitive age for cargo… And I think you absolutely need to move it to November for next year, so she can run!!!
Ah, yes not the best age to fly…! I’m afraid no can do about Norwegian Open 2018… The AWC will be held in Sweeden in 2018, and NO 2018 is scedueled to the weekend after the AWC, so that people travelling far can combine those two events π But she can come to NO for some trial socialization then π It’s a 7 hour drive from my place to the location of the AWC 2018, so I’m definitely going there to cheer π
Oh, good to know, we’ll see what we can come up with! π
