So does it mean that when your dog misses an entry (enters at the 2nd pole like mine), he always has to start over the 12 poles ?

If she doesn’t enter correctly, I send her in again yes. But that is the same no matter how many poles follow 🙂 Of course, if the entries are not good, I go back to channel work.

    Hi Silvia!

I would be very interested in your new tricks DVD -- could you please write me an e-mail about the overall costs of it?

Congrats to you cool runs yesterday and hope you got back safely!

Thanks! What did you do in a second run?? We got home without real problems, just very slowly -- took us 5 hours instead of 3.5… Tricks DVD is 45e + 5e for shipping -- OR, I can bring it to you to Korneuburg if you’re there?

hihi was taking the more risky way that time but did not work out -- the rest of the course was great… but what should I say… Socks is always great -- the burden am I 🙂

I won’t compete in korneuburg the whole winter but I will tell you next time we see eachother if the friend of mine still wants to have the dvd or not and the we can handle all the rest!! 🙂

        Thank you so far!!

Some are natural and some take some time, but they all can learn! Specifically for that skill, I’m preparing another “Thinking Tricks” video, offering some tricks to improve problem solving, generalization and complex thinking skills.

OHHH, I have to comment on one section in the video. I just got it yesterday. The part where you are rapid fire rewarding/clicking. It think it is with Le under your roof and you talk about doing MORE clicking and more rewards and often and not to worry about wrong rewards/clicks and such. I LOVE that part. I see so many people worrying about clicking for the wrong thing, so they don’t click often enough. I do it, too, sometimes and when I worry about my clicks my dog sees that and he worries, too, and I just want to slap myself when I react like that.
I have had some people be critical of my tossing the ball in advance for Spur on the DW, saying that I will then reward everything even what I don’t want. Well, pooey on them he is doing better and better and I do believe he understands his job because when he has a good hit he has the chicken jackpot! His misses are less and less and his speed and confidence are improving all the time!
It is SO good that you stress not to worry if you click wrong and to just reward all tries, especially when teaching tricks. A lesson we all need to learn and I think it was the most important thing on this tricks video!!!
Very well done, I LOVE it!

hello! I want to download the video, but before I buy it, I need to know the video format of it, to make sure I can watch it on my c

The video is an .mp4 file, it is encoded with an MPEG codec. If you would have problems with playing it you should use the free VLC media player -- it plays everything 🙂
