Classes

Because long-distance classes proved to work so great and got so popular that commenting videos takes all my time, I'm not doing any in live classes or privates anymore. I am still doing 2 camps (4 day seminars) per year - but for on line students only.

    Hi there,

I´m interested in both Agility and Tricks, but I need to chosse one if they are not on the same day. For me would be perfect if the course runs every 3 weeks.

    Best regards,
    Katja

All three classes will be on the same day, that’s exactly because of those that need to drive several hours to come. I was thinking of a schedule like agility foundations 2pm, tricks 3pm, agility handling 5pm. What does everybody think? I was thinking to do most of the lessons on Fridays as that’s probably the easiest day to get off work -- anybody with different preferences? We can’t do weekends as all my weekends are already filled by competitions or seminars abroad.

That schedule would be great for me personally. Especially since I have three dogs and each one would belong in a different class. 🙂 I have a beginning (though not young) potential agility dog, an experienced agility dog who for health reasons should not do anything too strenuous anymore but enjoys thinking and problem-solving, and a difficult to handle but very promising agility prospect--fast, fit, agile, and totally hysterical and barky. 😉 Forget about waiting at the start.

My only concern is whether it could be a problem having a late afternoon agility class on a Friday and then competing in agility the next day. Do you think that be too much for the dog? (Let’s not worry about the handler too much…)

Changing dogs within the same class is possible too if you (or anybody else) want. I think for most dogs it’s not a problem to run in class on Friday and then competing Saturday, but we can also move all the classes to Thursdays if wanted. I was just thinking people can leave work early the easiest on Fridays, but days&hours are still open to discussion.

Your body awareness and attention training is the best I have ever seen! I live in the States, and am wondering if you ever do seminars here, or if you have or are planning on selling dvd’s featuring teaching these important skills. They would be so welcome in the world of dog training!
    Thanks.
