I hate to ask but with all of the house building and completion of my Masters degree I’ve gotten quite far behind. And today my sweet little Pixie has been spayed. I am wondering if I can submit my graduation video a little down the road. Come April and and University free and house building free and I can focus once again on tricks and playing with my pooches. Just thought I would ask and to let you know I haven’t gone anywhere.
Our graduation movie π
The rest of class must be taking their time to make REALLY cool movies π we had to hurry up and finish taping because Evie is going to have puppies in ~three wks!
We had a great time and still working on many tricks and its GOOD we have so much to work on because Evie is HUNGR(ier).
Great job, so cool to watch, gotta say again just love her tail!!! π She is looking very great considering she has only 3 weeks to go, congrats, how exciting.Enjoy the pups.
We are way behind, so a while before we post a video. π
Yay, congratulations for the puppies! Beautiful video, very impressive tricks and lots of fun to watch Evie, what an enthusiasm! -- And speed when chasing rabbits! π That extra handstand was amazing! And the kangaroo is hilarious! Let me know which video you want!
Wow, what a great graduation movie, soooo nice to watch π Evi is such a smart girl. Very impressive !
Good luck for Evi and her puppies . I love puppies!
Looking forward to see a picture of them π
Wow, Evie has such incredible balance! Loved watching your vid -- her extracurricular handstand was AMAZING and i loved her kangaroo .. she looks just like one π
Awesome video with Evie! Gosh her mannerisms remind me so much of my vizsla, Austin!! Best of luck with the pregnancy…I bet it’s a piece of cake since she is so fit from all of her tricks!!!
Sent! π You actually know pretty much all if not all of those tricks already… But I won’t have another one for a while, so… Anyway, enjoy your puppies, hope to see them in a puppy class!!! It starts 3rd of September yes.
Much thanks for the well wishes and compliments π
Melanie -- yes, I know how the two breeds share expressions and gestures -- Austin is one COOL dog! Good luck at Nationals !!!
Hi Silvia and classmates! Here is our graduation video π
We didn’t do all tricks and some tricks we have to work on more. So this is it for now π
We again had TONS of fun while doing this class. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to keep up with all the video’s and comments. So I really hope you will all make a graduation video!! π
Again thanks Silvia for this great class! We LOVE doing tricks! See you in a couple of days! (Hope it will be some nice weather over there, here it is very windy, rainy and cold right now)
Oh, what a cute cute video! Amazing! Loved the basketball, you two make a great basketball team!!! Great job with soccer too, what a cool goal! π And double-shame was too cute! Actually, all the tricks were really cute and impressive! See you soon and definitely bring warm clothes, we had over 25 degrees for a month and no rain since December I think -- but this night, it was snowing!!! -- And then sunny during the day, but it looks like it will stay cold for another 10 days, huh… And oh, tell me which video you want for graduation and if you prefer a download link or a DVD when you get here. Great great job!
Congratulation Jonina and Jin to your graduation video. ItΒ΄s awsome!!!! π
Loved the hug and this very beautiful pic at the end. -- And not to forget,
what a GREAT footlose!!!
What a great video! You and Jin are just amazing! Im not sure which is more impressive, your dog training abilities or video skills! Jin is so cute and I just love her tri markings! Job well done!
Hi, Silvia. I’m embarrassed about how far behind we are. I’m actually just getting back to catching up. Do we need to register again for the class in order to continue? I saw that this class is ongoing…does that mean we just go back to where we left off and get back to work?
Well Done Jonina and Jin!! Both my guys lack balance, but they are getting much BETTER!! Seeker didn’t use to be able to sit up at all! Thanks Silvia!! So, we’d LOVE the better balance DVD for some summer work. Both do well with hugging the pole, but it’s hard to advance further without the sit up. We’ll continue to develop that! We have a lot of ‘parts’, but not the finished product.
Wow, how cool! Loved the Border Collie Under Cover! π And peeing on the cat! And the security check! -- The whole video actually -- too funny! But yes, so many tricks that require sit up that it was quite hard without it… How much of a sit up can you get?And are you sure you want Tricks for balance -- I think we discussed all those tricks here or in puppy class… I think Thinking Tricks would give you the biggest number of new tricks to teach.
In order to get a sit up with the Weims I used many different approaches to get them used (build muscles?) to and understand it: sit up where two walls meet (in a wedge…) sit up wedged by the couch and in this class (for penguin) there was sit up putting front paws on my hand (Shiva likes this one :-)) maybe this will help…
He can stay up about 30 seconds now, but if you try to get him to catch a toy, or hug something he loses the balance, or just bats it to the ground. My PWD can’t sit up at all, but we’ll get there if I put some time into it. Great idea Noa, I’ll try that! I’ve also heard of using a corner of a room so they can get some support from that.
I have your other two trick videos Silvia…so, I might as well have the complete “Trilogy” (‘:
O.k., sent! There actually are some tips for a sit up problems. A corner is a good idea, but I like to use my legs the most (the dog sits with her back against my legs) as I can feel well how much or not the dog is leaning AND you can actually offer double support if needed -- to their back and their paws -- and then fade one by one.

Exactly -- just get back to work and post whatever you’re working on! π
Do I need to send more $$$$ to continue?
Oh no, you pay once and then finish when you’re ready π
Thanks, Silvia! Callie (and I) will be happy to get back to it!

Very clever video ! great ideas π
