Foundations August 2015

So this is it... As the class is ending, here is the place to send your summed up videos of what you've learned in past few months that we spent together. It was a really fun group, so this will be a memory page for this class that will stay open for ever.

You can post the videos any time, but gathering likes starts whenever it's posted. Whoever has the biggest number of likes (only "likes" on this website count - those given directly on YouTube and Facebook don't count to make it easier to track) by December 22 gets a free next class of their choice :) - And the next three get a free download link to a training video of their choice!

Before I started this class with a young beginner dog, I thought it would be very easy. How wrong I was! Kite is a fast dog, the fastest I ever handled, and immediately I discovered that my handling was terrible. I only had late cues and crosses, and the confused novice dog. I had to train the dog, and, at the same time, I had to completely change my handling and the mindset. That was not easy!

We started with the very first puppy wraps/sends, and finally finished with happy runs on the very first Kite trial. I felt like it was the very first trial in my life, the new fast dog and handling were difficult for me. We both were very happy, running together as a team, enjoying the speed of the run.

    Thank you, Silvia!

What a way to start his trial career! I’m sure there are many more wins to come, Kite is really well trained already and your handing is way clearer now!

I tried from different accounts and it seems to work just fine? It’s just that not every avatar shows up, so maybe they just don’t know they did like it? Or do they get an error message?

    Hi Silvia,
Time got away on me and I did not post my lesson 6 work but I am thrilled that I actually made it that far and was ready for the lesson 6 work. We actually completed the sequence nicely and I can see the improvements in Trynn from the first year we took the Foundations online class until now. I have lots of things to work on still but thank you for your reviews and endless patience. Great class!!
