Foundations August 2015

So this is it... As the class is ending, here is the place to send your summed up videos of what you've learned in past few months that we spent together. It was a really fun group, so this will be a memory page for this class that will stay open for ever.

You can post the videos any time, but gathering likes starts whenever it's posted. Whoever has the biggest number of likes (only "likes" on this website count - those given directly on YouTube and Facebook don't count to make it easier to track) by December 22 gets a free next class of their choice :) - And the next three get a free download link to a training video of their choice!

After a few disastrous runs with my trailing dog, I begged Silvia for help. What can I do? Is it possible to fix all our issues?
I thought, the mission was impossible – Rizh is a very shy dog, with many phobias since he was a puppy… Teeter was his special issue – sometimes Rizh would run away from the ring if he could see the teeter. Sometimes he would run away from DW, or anything resembling teeter. Sometimes he wouldn’t start at all, anticipating the teeter. On top of that, he started being afraid of tunnels, and he was slow in weaves.

Silvia accepted the challenge and recommended this foundations class. We worked hard, starting from the very beginning, straight tunnels, barely touching the teeter at first, feeding dinner after dinner on the board… Silvia completely customized the program for Rizh, since he needed speed and confidence most of all.
The mission was impossible, but we did it! In the end of the class, Rizh had his ever best Standard run he was happy and did not hesitate doing teeter at all. I had never seen him happy in Standard runs before.

Thank you, Silvia! It was almost impossible.

Just AMAZING!!! Not easy at all to work with dogs with fears and not that motivated, so you sure did a great job with Rizh!!! He looks sooo much happier now and is running really great even in trials now!

Well done to you and Rizh 🙂
