Good news!

Thank you all for all your good wishes for a speedy recovery! Seem like it's helping! The headaches ceased completely after 2,5 weeks, so I could get off painkillers. The dizziness is almost gone as well. The back stopped hurting as soon as I resumed yoga and strengthening exercises 2 weeks after the fall. The broken ankle and heel were never really painful (well, at least until the first PT session!!!) and the swelling is minimal, so we had the first PT already - so cool to see and move my foot again! 🙂

PT thought things look amazing, given the injury, so thank you Google for "how to speed up recovery" tips 🙂 Apart from eating healthy, supplements, proteins and yoga, I would also suggest cuddling your dogs with your broken foot as proprioception exercise 🙂 And let them take care of daily massage and heating as well! I guess they're super motivated to get me on my feet again - taking turns and working extra hours!

So yes, the classes are all running normally and Foundations is still planned, just moved for one week, to April 14!

what happened? I was offline for a few weeks moving to a new home and not getting around to check on many things. Plus the depressing reports on the virus. When I started reading the good news I was afraid you had a case of Co-virus!! Speedy recovery Silvia!!!! super glad that it is going well!!!!

Found the post on the big fall….how SCARY! So turns out that you are a CAT after all, not a dog…?

    🙂

Hope the dizzy spells will leave you alone soon and PT will help return all of the foot and ankle functions.

Cats heal in magical ways -- as long as all parts are in the same room, they find a way to get back together again.

Ha ha, yes, Catwoman! 🙂 But now all my PT and check ups have been canceled because of the virus!!! 🙁 So I guess I’ll need to do some more googling 🙂
