All classes on hold… – but hopefully restarting soon!

O.k., so I had that freaky crazy climbing accident... - totally my mistake after a short, sleepless night... I planned to climb just the start of an interesting path (like first 4m up - and then back down) and didn't attach myself to the machine for that reason... - but then forgot that plan in between, being taken by that path... - and climbed all the way up, thinking I DID attach myself... - and then jumped from 8m, thinking the machine will take me down slowly... Amazingly, it resulted in just a minor head injury and in two broken bones in my ankle... - that at first made me crazy sad... - afterall, I have never ever been either ill or injured in my life, so I'm really not a good patient...

BUT after talking to the owner of a climbing facility who found the video (I didn't remember at all what happened... - I'm incredibly happy it's just the ankle!!! It's actually a miracle I'm still alive... I guess I must have 7 lives... 6 more to go!

I'm still in. hospital and not allowed lots of computer time because of some blood in my brain that needs to absorb, so all the classes and DVD dispatch are on hold at the moment... - but there won't be any consequences to my brain and the bones will heal, so I'm doing great and hopefully I can review the videos this weekend!

THANK YOU for your patience and BIG thanks to Polona for taking care of everything... - and Maša, Manca and Nuša of course - thank you sooo much!!! I promise we'll be back to our runs in the woods soon, doggies... And yeah, back to climbing as well... - my newest big passion 🙂 Just no more crazy!!! 🙂

Thank you all for the good wishes! They must be helping as I’m feeling much better already -- I did my first little walk by the river today, rocking those crunches! 🙂 And not all that dizzy anymore, so I think I will be out of the hospital in a day or two, yay!!!

Oh no! I am so sorry this happened. I also rock climb. Maybe this picture will cheer you up: My Powderpuff Party as a very little puppy. I took him to the climbing wall outside with friends and he tried to climb up behind me <3 <3 <3

Hi Silvia! First, so sorry you fell! Second, so glad your injuries are going to resolve without permanent problems (Whew!!!). Third, I am glad you have a new obsession! Climbing is a good one…. Thinking good healing thoughts for you!

Oh my goodness Silvia. Take things gently -- it’s never easy coping with being injured but the body needs to heal. So good strong healing wishes from us x
On a different level altogether Zeb had a minor gastric injury right after Foundations ended and three physio checks later (paranoid Mom!) is just started back to little bits of agility having been back to free running exercise for 10 days. Can we still sign up for the RC course now in Advanced again?

Whew! Sounds like a very close call! Glad you’re healing well and hope you take all the time and rest that you need! Take care:)
