Happy retirement, my favorite perfectionist!!!

bu, trials, world championships

So I decided last year World Championships was Bu's last trial - all her slipping there just made me too worried she would get injured, to dare to run her again on unpredictable surfaces. We will continue to do some agility at home, on surface she knows well and has no problems with. She still jumps as elegant and effortless as always and is just as eager and perfectionist as ever. But I think it's safer for her to not run trials anymore - almost 10 years of trialing has been enough! She was never injured in her long career and was never ill in her life - not even with kennel cough or diarrhea, so definitely as healthy and tough as it gets! - And I hope you stay like that for many more years to come, dear Bu!!!

I just wanted to thank you for being such a cool, reliable agility dog that one can always count on! Her structure and mindset never allowed her to be just as fast as my other dogs, but she sure was super reliable and always as tight and as efficient as it gets, so looking back at her career, she was not that bad of an agility dog afterall 🙂

She won EO 2012, set best time on WC 3 times, has many team podiums from WC and was 4th individually TWICE - making her most successful slovenian large agility dog of all times. Not bad at all for my slow and autistic - but definitely brilliant BC!

Sharing our WC 2012 video - with La, Le and Bu all earning individual podiums 🙂

I love the elegant and tight jumps of BU. I remember BU and your great run at WC.
Thank you and happy retirement, BU!
