NEW!!! class: Xtreme Foundations
Let's start the New Year with good news: fresh new class now open for registration!!! 🙂
Inspired by last year killer AWC courses, allowing only either the fastest handlers - and those with best trained dogs - to survive - and motivated by all my Beyond Foundations class students who are real Foundations pros already and just can't get enough of classes... 🙂 - I decided for yet another new class.
I actually prepared X-treme Foundations DVD with this class in mind, so that's the program we'll be following. The class is appropriate for all who finished Foundations and want to train for even more independency and challenge their dogs further.
It's especially appropriate for:
- teams competing or aspiring to compete at highest levels
- slower handlers with fast dogs who need independence even more
- anybody enjoying training dogs, looking for even more fun challenges
The class will again require minimal equipment and space - you can do most of the exercises with just 2 jumps and 2 tunnels, but of course, you will need weaves for weaves lesson and at least one contact obstacle for obstacle discrimination.
This class has 5 lessons and is 10 weeks long - each lesson is 2 weeks and we'll also have a 2 week catch up break in between.
We're starting on January 26, but you can register and enter the classroom already now.
Please make sure your are registered and logged in before you proceed to paying with paypal - this will ensure you will get your correct access automatically.Xtreme Foundations Jan2017 PARTICIPANT + Xtreme Foundations video download (220 EUR/ cca 230 USD) |
Xtreme Foundations Jan2017 PARTICIPANT (if you have Xtreme Foundations video already) (185 EUR/ cca 195 USD) |
Xtreme Foundations Jan2017 AUDITOR/2nd dog (130 EUR/ cca 135 USD) |
Because of this new class, Beyond Foundations class is moved to April. Beyond Foundations is focused on different handling options and choosing of lines and this class is focused on training the dog for more skills, so they're very different classes and you can do them in any order.

Hi Silvia,
Do you think Nanou can do this class ?
Thanks,
Martine
I think you could do most of the exercises yes IF you of course mix in plenty of easy straight forward stuff as well to keep him happy.
Hi Silvia
When will you be running this course again? I need to finish off Luka’s running contacts in February and think I am going to find it too hard doing two course at once so would hope to do this course at a later stage.
Thanks
Karen
I’m not sure yet -- but probably in August.
I hope Mio and I will be ready for this class in August 😀 It sounds like a lot of fun and just what we will need once the basic Foundation training is finnished!
I have no doubts you will be! I love there is always something more to train in agility!
Hi Silvia,
just paid for this class, forgot to login first 🙁
Thanks
Martine
All fixed 🙂
Hi Silvia,
Do you think this would be a good class for Hogan?
Oh yes -- definitely ready for it!
Hi Silvia,
Do you think Coco is ready for this?
Wondering also is there any point to enter class with dog who hasn’t been in foundations class, but is experienced agility dog? Thinking this would be perfect for Gaga, since in trials we have problems with come to hand and tunnel traps… But she doesn’t know cik/cap.
Sounds so much fun! 🙂
Foundation class is not a requirement no -- we are not focusing on cik/cap that much in this class. You would just need to adjust verbal discrimination exercise some then. But you can still join nevertheless, so with either of the two -- or both 🙂
could you tell me what means 2nd dog for the Xtrem auditor class ?
Those are two different things. This option is for either auditors (not posting videos) or for those who are a participating with another dog and want to add a 2nd dog for the feedback as well. -- Hope that makes sense!
