La Update

Thank you all for your good wishes! I think you are right - if anybody can do it, it's La. For now, she is feeling great, she thinks upping her meals from 3 to 5 times a day is the best idea ever and is as fat as never before - we had to hold her back some to not exceed the "dog in cabin" weight for her flight to last two radiations, but now we're all back to making her fat 🙂 Other as being unusually fat, she is actually completely asymptomatic at the moment - bleeding from the nose, loud breathing and sneezing stopped as soon as we started with radiation and her face asymmetry disappeared a couple of days after. She comes with us for all the walks, is doing tricks daily and we even throw in an occasional dog-walk to make her smile.

She did get some red and itchy skin under her eyes because of the radiation, so she is not as pretty as usually at the moment, but she sure didn't lose her smile:

Side-effects from radiation should disappear in a couple of weeks though and what happens next, we don't really know - it can be it comes back, it could be metastasis will show up... So far, no metastasis were found in samples from lymph nodes, spleen and liver, but you can never be sure... But we're happy that the tumor is obviously shrinking and we do hope we can beat the odds and turn promised months into years. Without radiation, she would be gone by now, so it's great to see her just as happy and hungry as always.  So just keep on smiling La, we can do that!!!
