So... I was searching for a tall, smooth BC... But then came across videos of To's mother, couldn't sleep after and I just knew she is the one. After studying tons of different lines and already reserving another puppy first, I just knew that's it, no extra studies done - despite I don't know the line at all and never met the mother or father.

The only problem was that we needed 3 girls for me to get one... And then on 3rd November, 3 girls were born 🙂 I immediately fell in love with one and liked her better&better with every next video, she was just so cool! I was sure I have no chance to get her as she is so cool and I had the last choice, but it turned out we all like another puppy the most and we could all get our 1st choice 🙂 So then she just needed to do some more growing and yesterday, we flew to the Netherlands to bring little To home!

She might not be tall or smooth, but To means "exactly that!" in slovenian and I think she really is exactly what I've been searching for afterall. It's just like I found La, my one in a billion dog: searching for a rough fawn, reserving one from the line I studied long and hard and really loved it - but then met her mother and... The plan had changed 🙂 - And taught me to never be afraid to change plans, to follow the heart rather as head and go with what feels right. And To sure just feels right.

So far, she is doing really great, she is already house broken, comes when called, eats everything, plays with everything and is following me everywhere. She also sleeps the whole night BUT exclusively in the bed. She must see me at all times or she becomes the loudest puppy in the world - amazing how LOUD a little puppy can be! That's new for me, all my puppies slept when they were tired, but she only sleeps as long as she can feel or see me 🙂

Her pedigree name is Infinity Light Time is on To side - it had to be the Rolling Stones song, contain her call name and couldn't contain ' 🙂 and she is out of Wannahave Marvelous Alyx and Bye and Away Gloubard.  More pictures and videos coming soon, have to go play with the puppy now!!! But here is great documentation of her first 7 weeks (she is the one with a red collar), by her breeder Haika Smid:

I totally understand your choice after watching her mother in action on those videos. 🙂

Don’t know about the mother -- but the father is from an amazing sheepworking line 🙂 No doubt you will have a very special girl ! Enjoy 😉

Glad to hear that as I don’t know father’s line at all!

Andrea Turner who is breeding with Bye & Away kennel name lives in France. She is breeding BC for about 25 to 30 years now and is known for her very strong working dogs, very powerful and willing. It will be very interesting 😉

Congratulations Silvia on your new family member! We are all very happy for you over here, especially Ben who says always trust your heart and that is why he is here as well. He was a puppy returned at 11 months and when he crawled into my lap I got goose bumps and that was that. Was that To with the pink feather boa? If yes then she has great taste in fashion already as well! I love how adventurous she is and I really liked how sweet that red uncle BC? was too! Every puppy litter needs a playful uncle!!! To’s upbringing looked like puppy heaven to me!

Happy to hear Keen is doing so well now! Not sure if you ever got my reply to your mail a while back -- I kept sending it and kept getting it back due to “mail delivery failure”. If you didn’t get it, I can find it and send again, if you have another e-mail that would accept it?

Aren’t you good to remember that , back a while ago!! No I did not see a reply, but would love to read it if it is not too much trouble.. my only e-mail is : iNigel@comcast.net
We started working on “Control Unleashed” by Lesley McDevitt, and that has been helping.
I will LOVE seeing your new puppy come along.. good for you!!

Looks like it went through this time… I used the same e-mail before, but with small N as that’s what showed up when using “reply” option.

Congratulations! And of course I love the litter name theme because my Jagger is named after Mick Jagger 😀
