Bi and Le win gold :)

trials

So we did it again ๐Ÿ™‚ At Amadeus Agility World Cup in Salzburg this weekend, all 4 dogs qualified for semi finals, then Bi and Le won semi finals with by far best time, my super midget exactly 1s faster as Bi and Bi with next best time, more than a second before next large. Bu qualified for finals (first 8 dogs in semi finals) as well and then Bi and Le won finals and (real) gold, so they're now rich ๐Ÿ™‚ - Or, well, Le is rich (winning gold for a 2nd year in a row) and Bi is still paying off the debts for all the destroyed toys, soft crates, dog beds etc. ๐Ÿ™‚ To make it even better, both 1st and 2nd places in finals in large and medium were taken by Slovenia!!!

Videos coming soon, thanks to Tinca and Tanja. And huh, this trial really made me wonder again why on earth doesn't EVERYBODY teach cik&cap??? I can think of 3 places where 75% of people had problems getting somewhere because they couldn't send to a wrap and leave. 20% had cik&cap and absolutely no problems getting to the next spot and 5% had other ways to get there, but I have no idea why those 75% don't want to make their life easier and teach a simple trick of cik&cap???

Congratulations, you and your dogs deserve it! And personally, I’m glad that everyone doesn’t use cik & cap because it gives me the advantage

๐Ÿ™‚ For me, as a trainer, it’s sooo hard to watch… It would be sooo much smoother, faster and easier with a simple cik&cap, I have no idea if they don’t see how much easier things are for us who do have cik&cap -- or they think it’s hard to teach -- or why on earth don’t they teach it???

I think there is some confusion between left/right and cik/cap and people aren’t exactly sure when it’s used…and it does at first glance look difficult to train..:-)
I am sure glad that you do offer to teach and share your knowledge with the rest of us though ๐Ÿ™‚

    Congratulations!
I agree on cik/cap -- it’s SO important, and yet so many don’t teach it! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us!

I also agree with you, cik/cap is one of the best trick and it make all easier…. only to tidy up is more useful ๐Ÿ˜‰

Definitely much better as in Tattendorf ๐Ÿ™‚ But the footing was really good here, while slippery flooring makes Le too hysterical as it makes her mad she can’t go as fast as she wants ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ˜€ LOL :-D…….. With Candy it is the same, she starts to screaming and she is getting completely crazy, when she can run as fast as she wants…… But Le is always fast and great…..she is so fantastic and also sooo cute and friendly…. ๐Ÿ™‚
