National Championships 2013 – La, Bu, Bi and Le all on the podium!

trials

We set a new record today! Bu and Le are National Champions 2013 again - with Bi and La in the 2nd place!!! Yeah, it doesn't get any better than that: 4 dogs, 2 National Champions and 2 vice National Champions πŸ™‚ That means I won National Championships 16 times already and that all the dogs I ever owned were on a podium one year or another, starting with my Samoyed winning it in 1997. Last 2 years, I won it in both medium and large, last year I had 3 dogs on a podium and this year 4, so yeah, it doesn't get any better than that - I guess I need a new dog for that!!! πŸ™‚

To make it even better, 3rd in medium is my good old friend Polona who started as my student 15 years ago, 3rd in large is Matej who started as my student 10 years ago and 1st in small is DaΕ‘a who started as my student 15 years ago... I guess agility passion is contagious πŸ™‚ All these dogs have running contacts and cik&cap of course and large podium was auntie Bu and her two nieces.

Wow, that is quite a record! And so cool about your other students! Spur may never be a National Champion, but he is starting to win some of our local trials which can be quite big and full of National Champions, but if they don’t Q, Spur can win! πŸ˜€ We sure like to brag about being your students! Congrats to you AND your students!!

And a question, its just curiosity, how did Bu beated Bi in speed if both were clear? Amazing La making it to second place at her age πŸ˜‰

Our National Championships is a combination of 10 runs. Bu was clean in all of them and Bi not, but she won all when she was clean and with that gathered enough points for 2nd place, but not for 1st.

Our fci championship is just an agility and jumping in a not very suitable carpet so we are miles away from having a good national championship to be honest.

Happy that other countries can enjoy a good one.

    Congrats again πŸ˜‰

Sorry to hear that, I don’t compete on carpet at all -- not a very safe surface! Our trials are all outdoors.

Congratulations. We want video because we love watching you run all of your dogs.

I don’t have any videos, all my friends were running with multiple dogs as well, so I didn’t want to bother them. It’s usually like this, I very rarely get anything taped -- when I do, I always put in on line, but… It’s quite a job to tape 4 dogs…

    BRAVO Silvia !
Your dogs and you are really great champions !
But now , I wonder if you are not getting bored without a new challenge ?
Did you ever think to be on small podium too ?

    • LoLaBu October 21, 2013 at 20:32 Log in to Reply

No, no small for me πŸ™‚ I love running large the most, but my favorite breed happen to be in medium. And, I like to prove those who think large dogs are the fastest wrong, so that’s another reason to love running in medium too πŸ™‚

Hogan and I may not ever make it onto a podium, but we are so proud to be your students!!
