Seminars

At the moment, my major focus are long-distance classes - they work really great as I can supervise the whole process, unlike as with seminars. So you're more than welcome to join in the fun!

I'm still doing 2 camps per year in LoLaBuLand, exclusively for my on line students.

The dates for 2014 are now fixed: 16-19 June and 22-25 September.

There are some changes this year. We’ll have a smaller group and only 4 days as 5 days was a bit too much for the dogs. Also, this time we won’t go with “first come” system, but those who took more classes will have an advantage in getting a spot as with less spots and just two camps, I guess they will fill quickly… Both camps are reserved for on line students and you can send an application for a spot till end of January. Right after, I’ll let everybody know who got in.

The price for 4 days is 360e and you will be asked to pay 100e in advance to reserve a spot once the spot is confirmed in February.

Dates for 2015 will be known in January.

Sorry, April camp is all full… How about July camp or maybe March’s seminar, could you come to one of those?

      • Linda February 18, 2011 at 16:37 Log in to Reply

July would be an other possibility. Isn’t it too hot for working? March is not possible for me because of my classes.
I really would love to come ^^
What’s about booking a room or camping? Last time you rode something about renting a room would be possible. I’m not sure if I want to camp outside 😀
Perhaps there will be a second dog with me untill then. Do you have any age limit’s? (I really love to have a second dog in my live but I’m not sure if it will work out right^^)
        So far
        Greetings from Germany
        Linda

No, there is no age limit! Many of the exercises in foundations and tricks will be appropriate for puppies too! But by now, July is actually full too… There might still be some cancellations, I can let you know. It’s possible to stay in a hotel or bed&breakfast nearby.

It would be great if you could let me know 🙂 I’m never fortunated if I like to participate in something 😀
Do you think you will have more Camps after August?

For this year, it’s just those four camps, sorry… -- and then maybe another seminar end of October.

Ok 😉 So we will have to wait ^^ But it would be nice if you could let me know (email if possible :)) if there are some cancellations. Thank you 🙂

    Thank you,

    Pozdravljeni!
    Hvala in lep pozdrav,
    Nana Gorjup

April je ze cisto polen, prosta mesta bi bila samo se za julijski kamp in marcevski seminar, prijavis se lahko preko te strani ali maila. Starost seveda ni noben problem.

    Hi Sylvia,

Just wondering if there is any space left on any of your camps in 2011 in Slovenia, we are three people from south of france from Educagyl in Villeneuve Loubet, in Agility from 6 years and more from one of us, our dogs are three BC and mine is one Parson (14 month old) with so incredible speed. If it’s not possible just told me if were is some other possibilities (even private ) We all want so much to come to your camp.
Also I made a french traduction of all your FAQ,did you want it? I can send it to you whenever you want.
    Thanks for advance
    JP

All camps filled immediately… There will probably still be some cancellations, but I doubt we will get three places in the same camp… How about 3-day seminar in March, followed with some extra private lessons? OR, you could start with long-distance classes and then come for a check up?

        Thanks Sylvia
I will check my partner tomorrow for March seminar, but If you got two cancellations for July or August let me know on my email (djp0612 at hotmail.com)
Next year we will come all three.

    Hello Silvia,
Your summer seminar are really a good idea. I love!!

I will be interested by 2012 august seminar.
Do you know when ( about) you will start the registration?

thank you and happy to make a new seminar with you ( you came in France in 2006 in Villecresnes and I was here.)

    • LoLaBu April 7, 2011 at 15:31 Log in to Reply

I will publish the 2012 dates in January or so.

Silvia, you HAVE to come to England! I rarely go to seminars, but I sure know I would go to yours!

    • LoLaBu May 2, 2011 at 14:53 Log in to Reply

No UK plans, sorry… Too hard to leave my dogs home alone! And now that I can have seminars at home and can cover the rest of the world with long-distance classes from my living room 🙂 , I don’t think I’ll do that much traveling anymore.

Dear Silvia, I´d like to ask if you still have any free places for your August camps (it doesn´ t really matter which one). And is there any chance you´ll be planning any seminars in September? Thanks for your answer 🙂

    • LoLaBu May 3, 2011 at 21:37 Log in to Reply

Sorry, the camps all filled in a week or so… I can put you on a waiting list if a spot opens up, but I already have several people on a list… I probably won’t have any more seminars/camps this year, but then of course again next year. How about long-distance classes instead? They work GREAT, I love it! Lots of fun, TONS of progress!

    Hi Silvia
Colud you please let me know if there are still available two places for your August seminars?( it makes no differences if August I or II)
    Thank you so much
    Looking forward to your reply

    • LoLaBu June 29, 2011 at 18:49 Log in to Reply

I’m sorry, but all camps are full pretty much ever since I opened them… That’s why I opened April and July camp then, but I don’t plan any more for this year, sorry…

Ok thank you so much for the answering.
Unfortunately me and my girlfriend discover you too late thanks for our italian agility trainer Simone Buralli. He suggest us watching your videos and of course he was right, yuo are amazing then we hope next year to be able to follow one of your seminar.
Just to ask, Is LA a particular type of breed or is she a mongroel??anyway your dog are all extraordinary, congratulation:)

hope to meet you as soon as possible..

        • LoLaBu June 29, 2011 at 22:22 Log in to Reply

The best is to check back in Jan/Feb next year: I will be publishing a schedule for a whole year then. Meantime, you’re welcome to join long-distance classes: those are lots of fun and very effective as I can supervise the whole process (unlike as with seminars…) 🙂

La is a Pyrenean Shepherd, smooth coated variety (and Le is long coated variety of the same breed).

Sorry, I’m not planning any more seminars for this year, other than those that are planned (and full) already… But I would definitely recommend long-distance classes, that’s pretty much a perfect spot to learn about running contacts and cik&cap!
