Hello Silvija, hello classmates ;)) Time flew so fast. Too fast for me. We had enough time to work on tricks, but it took me a while to make graduation video. I would like to say so many thinks to you all …. bul I’ll just say thanks, you’re the best gang.
It was hard to select the essential and not to make video too long. So I did it very short (5 min is short?), not everything is included … but you’ll get the picture, no, I mean you’ll get the video ;)).

I would choose Cik&cap video if possible and we’ll do Advance trick class in week or two (we’ll be in contact by mail for invoice, please).

that all from me for now, let the picture (video) talk instead of me.

YOU AND YOUR DOGS ARE ALL PERFECT ;))

Here’s Papu’s graduation video. As you can probably see, I’m really proud of my little boy. When I signed up to this course, I was worried that it might be physically too demanding for him -- you know, with a long back, short legs and being quite heavily build… But his coordination has got so much better! I think the “4 in” trick really sums it all up. 🙂

Many of the tricks are far from perfect so there’s still a lot for us to do. But this is a good start! A bit more practice with some of the puppu tricks and then we’ll join advanced!

Thanks Silvia and thanks to you all! The class has been great and it’s been wonderful to see all your videos! We have a bunch of smart and beautiful dogs!!

    • LoLaBu February 11, 2012 at 14:04 Log in to Reply

Yay for Pupu!!! It’s really amazing what body skills he has! That 4in and sit up to stand up were sure impressive for his build! Looks ready for Advanced Tricks to me!!! And he is just too cute with that reed! Great video editing too! Let me know which video to send for graduation!

Thanks Silvia! I think I’d like to have Tricks for a great bond. 🙂

          Sent 🙂

Super cute! I bet all these tricks are really great for strengthening a long-backed dog to prevent injury. He’s really good at holding a toy, isn’t he?

    • Kathy February 12, 2012 at 14:37 Log in to Reply

Ohhh…Papu is too cute! 🙂 Great job with the tricks! You two make a great team!

Sorry Silvia, but I already get all your videos ! I just start to watch Speed & Conditioning, there is so many many things to learn from this video and the others and I hope I will master some of them !!!

            Hi Silvia !

If you want, I would love your new video as gift! Thanks a lot for this. You may also send us the graduation certificate for Garlic and me.

              Sure, all sent!

    • Diane Whitney February 11, 2012 at 22:19 Log in to Reply

Oh my God, that was SO CUTE. The handstands were amazing! I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to fit all the tricks into a video the length of one song, but I should have done like you and just strung several songs together. I finally gave up and am uploading now, but I had to leave a bunch off. Anyway, great video! Garlic is adorable!

      • Pascal HERMANN February 12, 2012 at 17:46 Log in to Reply

I don’t make such a video before this one, but it was like a challenge for a beginner and on a slow computer !!!
But tricks and videos was a good way to spend time during this cold winter !

Garlic is my 6th dog, but first female and first one learning clicker and tricks !

I finally got my video uploaded and YouTube disabled it for copyright violation. I’m disputing it: It’s for educational purposes so it should be allowed under fair use. I know you have some issues with this in your classes so it will be interesting to see what they say, for the benefit of future students.

Plus, my music was perfect and I don’t give up that easily! 🙂

  6. Diane Whitney February 12, 2012 at 03:57 Log in to Reply

    Yay, it worked!

Thank you so much, Silvia, we had a wonderful time and I will definitely be taking Advanced Tricks once we’re done with RC and Foundations (yes, apparently I’m another one with a problem). And my classmates, I learned so much from watching you and your wonderful dogs!

Also, I have to tell you--this video shows Byrdie doing a handstand on a cushion, but the minute I decided I was done with the video, the little bugger went and learned to do it against the wall!!! 🙂

    • LoLaBu February 12, 2012 at 12:13 Log in to Reply

Beautiful! Beautiful video, beautiful dog and great job with all the tricks!!! He sure knows MANY! Really great backward 8 and ball rolling! So you got your case with YouTube, they would let you go with the music? Let me know which video you want for graduation!

    • Kathy February 12, 2012 at 14:31 Log in to Reply

GREAT job, Diane!!! So cool to finally see Byrdie!

    • Carina de Silva February 15, 2012 at 19:33 Log in to Reply

Wauw, Diane -- Byrdie is such a smart dog. Great job and very nice video 🙂

      • Diane Whitney February 16, 2012 at 00:27 Log in to Reply

        Thank you, Kathy & Carina!

  7. Diane Whitney February 12, 2012 at 16:58 Log in to Reply

Thank you! Yes, I got the music allowed. I followed the link that says something like “dispute copyright” or “resolve copyright.” It gives you a form to fill out, and I said:

“This video is for educational purposes. It is a video required for graduation from a dog training class. You can see the registration for the class at http://www.lolabuland.com. Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.”

Hope you will find that useful. And thank you again for the very kind offer of a video, I would like Speed & Conditioning please!

Interesting, that’s sure good to know! The video sent!

Hi everybody, this is Sharon Yildiz, an American who lives in Istanbul. I have an 11 month old Papillon, “Dash.” Since I’ve been auditing, I haven’t posted any videos until now. I hope you enjoy this medley of the tricks we learned in class. I also sneaked some extra-curricular tricks in near the end. 🙂

Thanks so much to Silvia for being a great teacher, and to everybody who offered help when I had question. And thanks especially to my buddy, Dash, for working super hard and having such a great attitude!

Great to finally see Dash! Like Gia just said, the spins are just awesome!! Really good job with all the other tricks as well!

      • LoLaBu February 13, 2012 at 16:32 Log in to Reply

Very cute! You two sure mastered many tricks! Loved the ball rolling and 4in and yes, what cool spins!!! Let me know which video you want!

        • Sharon Yildiz February 13, 2012 at 18:46 Log in to Reply

          Hi Silvia,
I have to collect them all, eventually! For now, I’ll happily take “Cik & Cap.” I’m looking for ways to train most agility concepts in my apt. building’s teeny tiny garden. I’m sure we can do a lot with just 2-3 jumps and cik & cap. Thanks!

          • LoLaBu February 13, 2012 at 19:53 Log in to Reply

            O.k., sent! Have fun!

Wow Sharon, Dash has such unique spins. They look awesome! Great video.

  10. Heini Viitamäki February 14, 2012 at 07:17 Log in to Reply

I have a question about advanced tricks: I understood it’s possible to join whenever, but how long does the course take? I mean how much time will we have to learn the tricks? (I’m trying to work out my schedule…)

    • LoLaBu February 14, 2012 at 18:06 Log in to Reply

Well, it’s a small class, so there are no time restrictions, you can post your tricks any time you want.

      • Heini Viitamäki February 15, 2012 at 06:57 Log in to Reply

        Sounds good! 🙂
