Beautiful Dolomites!
Still just as beautiful, only that we now found even nicer, less crowded trails! Our new motto is to start as low as possible and look for most narrow trails 🙂 - But now we need some time to heal all those pads...

WOW how stunning!! What a wonderful place to take the dogs!
SO beautiful! Looks so rugged! Our mountains look so different. Smoother. More trees. How high are these? My husband says our Appalachian mountains are older and that’s why less jagged. I guess I don’t know my geography well. Ours are not that high, I don’t think. Did you camp high up or go back down? What was the temperature? Looks so amazing!!!! Thanks you for sharing.
We were mostly living in a car at Col Galina at 2000m -- once at Tre Cime at 2300m. And then hiked in different direction every day -- I prefer it that way to avoid carrying tons of dog food 🙂 Temperatures varied from 10c at night to 23c during the day -- just perfect!
Dolomites have very specific shape yes. Most peaks are only accessible to climbers.
Always love your pictures of the Dolomites -- such beautiful colors! The water looks so inviting, but probably pretty cold I guess?
Yeah, only the dogs are brave enough to swim in it 🙂
Lovely pictures! What trails exactly did you hike? I live in Belluno and I have never been there!
For most of the trips, our staring point was Col Gallina. And once Tre Cime but we didn’t like all the crowds there too much 🙂
