La, winning Moravia Open 2014 :)
Have to brag with my crazy little La again - she just won Moravia Open this weekend - at almost-13! 🙂 I'm sooo happy to see her so happy, healthy and strong at this age, still being able to do things she loves. She lost her hearing lately, but that sure is not stopping her - I guess she just has a very good reason for not coming when called when eating something disgusting now! 🙂 - I hope age keeps bringing her good things only 🙂 - she sure deserved it!!!
And Bi obviously decided to pay off her debts for all the things she destroyed as she only keeps the bars up when money is involved 🙂 - so after winning gold at Amadeus, she also put in just enough clean runs in Moravia to get to Grand Final and finished 2nd in Finals, again winning some money 🙂
Yeah!!!!!! La is incredible, so great and that without hearing something, really amazing!!!!!so cool!!!!!…… and yeah for Bi!!!!! congratulation!!!!!
Wow, amazing little La!!! Just unbelievable 🙂
Hi Silvia,
I have a few more questions for you, if I may. I always worry, do I do too much with my pup/ or not enough?? My dogs up till now were shelter dogs meant to be house pets, now I have a BC puppy that I would like to do agility with. How do I know if I work her too much, as she will never refuse to run, bounce, hike (she will happily walk 4 km with me on a hike and would do another 2-3 km on another, later in the same day) or play. When I pick up a toy she jumps up right away… and all I hear is be careful!!! Should I stop her or not?? when she runs to a ball or a rolling frisbee she slides in to catch it, is that harmful for her?? Maybe you can give me some direction as to what is good or direct me to articles on the subject. She is almost five and a half months old, and as I mention last time I wrote you I did a lot of your video tricks with her and plan to do the foundation online course in September. Thanks so much, Sigal
With my pups, I allow plenty of hiking and running freely in different environments -- I still avoid long, all-day hikes, but take them to all our normal daily walks with adult dogs. I do limit playing ball though -- some of it is fine, but I avoid too much of it + use balls that bounce just enough that they can catch them in movement rather as promote abrupt stops.
Congratulations on EO, as always a pleasure to watch you and your dogs.
Thank you and I apologize again for the multiple messages. It still shows, for me, that I didn’t post anything, and found it just by using your reply. Sometimes it seems like even though the ball is still moving she slides in to catch it, but i’ll try to limit that as well, and play more tug that she loves, now that she is almost done teething.
What do you mean, you don’t see your original post above my reply or?
She looks so fantastically happy!!! good for her 😀
