Back home!

Yes, we're back home and getting ready for the first series of long-distance classes! You'll get a course we ran last night with my students, it's a fun one. And puppies are starting with tricks. As puppy class filled up so quickly that we'll probably soon open a new one, please leave a comment bellow if you want a spot, just so that I can see how many puppies we have and when can we start. Handling class still has some openings. There are two more classes coming up in two or three months: one on running contacts and one for agility foundations.

Probably the youngest one in my US seminars: 8 weeks old Aussie puppy, how cute is that!

Some more news from LoLaBuLand: camps are all full (also July), handling classes are all full, one of the puppy classes has two free spots and we have several free spots for March 18-20 seminar and 21st March follow-up seminar! New tricks video, Tricks for better thinking skills, is coming soon!

Meaning that yes, I did survive 21 consecutive days of teaching 🙂 Here are some pictures by Cathi Winkles from my stop in Michigan. As you can see, Le was the one who got to come this time and she already flies as a pro (meaning: doesn't make a sound and is invisible for 10 hours of flying). La is still on her winter break, Bu just celebrated her 5th birthday and my always-oh-so-skinny Bi is fat as a pig after 3 weeks of some less activity. So I guess my fear that something is wrong with her metabolism as she eats three times as much as normal dogs is for nothing, we just run too much! In case you have the opposite problem with your dog: it probably works the other way around too! We'll be testing that one in next 3 weeks or more!

And oh, if you didn't notice: we moved to a new, shorter and more easily remembered address: www.lolabuland.com so please, change your links!

I’m definitely interested in the new puppy class, I missed the first one cause it filled up so fast… The agility foundation class and running contacts class, are they long distance too?

Great, you’re in for the next one! 🙂 And yes, those will all be long-distance!

I am also interested in your next (long distance) puppy/tricks class. I’m so excited that you are offering classes online for those of us that live very far away.
    Thank you!

    Hi

I would like a distance puppy class place for my 3 month old puppy Sen.

That agility foundation class… Can you do that with puppies and will it require big space or real obstacles? We have winter here with LOTS of snow so we do not have big open areas to run outside… Or we do have the parking lot but it is a bit slipppery. Can we still do the foundation class?

Agility foundations will only start in May or so, so I hope your snow is all gone by then! But the puppies should be at least 7 or 8 months for agility foundations as it already includes real obstacles, so I think puppy class would be more appropriate for you. It includes all the preparation work for future agility dogs, but doesn’t require much space and no agility equipment.

    Hi
Any idea when the long distance running contact class will begin? Soon I hope!
Are you taking application for that at this time?
    Thanks
    Barb

End of March, beginning of April… You can reserve a spot already now, official entries will open a little later.

Saying it here or sending me a mail is enough 🙂

Hi Silvia, Loved meeting you at the Virginia Seminars in Richmond (I had the two white fluffy dogs, Yukon and Kiska). I am very interested in doing the long distance Puppy class and Agility Foundation class (both of my dogs are adults -- is one more appropriate than the other?). Please reserve a spot for me!! Thanks, Soraya

Nice to “see” you here! Both classes are appropriate for any dog, there is never too much foundation work! Puppy class is more about tricks (agility related tricks, but no real agility obstacles included) and agility foundations is about how to make agility just another trick 🙂 For puppy class, you don’t need any agility equipment, but for foundations, you already need some.
