RC class moved to January…

13 Nov 2014

December Running Contacts class is moved to January - simply because current Foundations class is keeping me too busy to be able to open another class until Foundations end... So RC will now start on January 6 - with registration opening on December 16.

January Puppy class is moved just for one week, to January 26 - registration still opens on December 15.

Will this change affect the Puppy Class, too? Will the Puppy Class be moved forward as well or are you still planning on starting it as scheduled on January 19?

Ok, Just noticed that you’ve written about Puppy Class already at the end of the note! Sorry, too fast fingers… ๐Ÿ™‚ Over and out! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yey, that was good news! Looking forward to be able to finish up the Foundation class, as well as doing some RC-related foundation work, before the Running Contact class starts ๐Ÿ˜€

Can I teach my 6-yr-old terrier running contacts or is he too old? We have struggled with contacts for the past year.

It’s never too old to learn something new! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m going to do this class with my 6 year old schapendoes! I used to think it was a little too late to start a RC-project, but luckily I got convinced it’s not ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m doing the Foundation-class with my 6 year old dog right now, and it certainly wasn’t too late to do some more Foundation work! I can’t wait to start the RC-class ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh, my puppy is so unsyncrhonized with your classes.. I have to take that into account for my next puppie.. ๐Ÿ™‚
When the RC class starts she is only 4,5 Months so she is too young to start I guess (she is a border collie). Would it make sense to join the class and start the actuall training when she is 6 months old? The class is already half way through the course then but..

Well, I did start with carpet running when To was 5 or 5,5 months old -- but you of course have to avoid too many repetitions and won’t be able to do that much as those with older dogs… So it’s on you to decide. Not the best timing no as next RC will only be offered next autumn/winter again…

Well, then I will join the class and start the training a bit in the course, as she gets older. I can make hind feet tricks and adjust the training until she is old enough. I don’t want to train without your guidance and I definetily don’t want to wait until next winter.. ๐Ÿ™‚
