And he is heeling very well. Now we are FMBB World Champion 2015! Best obedience! So thank you for giving me the idea of heeling as a trick. I teach all my dogs that way and its just fun and cool. I enjoy it a lot. You are a good teacher;). THANKS!!! Romy"

Will this play on an ipad ?

I don’t really know since I don’t own one. But as I hear there is a problem downloading it to an iPad. The video however should work now in Quicktime though, which is an Apple default player.

Thanks! That was the intent yes 🙂 And yes, it’s a PyrShep thing: check out if there are any treats left anywhere. Once done, check it again!

The video was very well done; I loved it! I also have the Cik&Cap video and am enjoying teaching my collies these “tricks”. I can’t wait for the trick video.

Congrats to Silvia and her dogs for the lovely performances at the World Championships.

Hi Silvia!!!!! I have a problem with your dvd…… :-((((( I can see it till “6 step”, then it doesn’t work anymore…., I tried on my dvd player (there are no problems with “cik&cap” dvd) and also on my pc…..
Can you bring me another copy the next lesson at the puppy class?I’ll bring you back this one. I take this opportunity to tell you that Jeep can already circling on the object!!!! Only in one direction at the moment (right direction), but she improves quickly! We are very happy to be your students and have a teacher like you!!! I have only to improve my english!!!!!

    Hey Silvia

I’m not good at English but I have a question.

Give it your DVD’s in german??

      Hi!
I am sorry, but the DVD is not available in german language. In the moment it is available only in english, maybe there will be a french version later this year.

      hi Saskia,

Ich kann auch nicht gut englisch, aber Silvia ist sehr leicht zu verstehen. Evtl weil es für sie auch eine Fremdsprache ist. Ich hatte keinerlei Problem mit dem Cik&Cap Video

    Hi Silvia,
Finally got the DVD on heeling!

It’s really good. You’ve covered all the small steps that no-one ever seems to mention, so now it is clear how heeling will develop.

Great that you have a part on border collie heads too ! I have 2 who give me focus, but carry their head low, so it will be good to try to rectify that.
Last time Ghost watched the Cik & Cap DVD. This time he wouldn’t take his eyes off all of your dogs heeling. It started as soon as he heard the sound of a clicker 😉

    Q. I have great difficulty working one dog while the others are around me as you do so well. My dogs push in and try to take the place of the dog working, so I have to work them alone.
Do you have any tips on that ?

Loved the scenery in the video. The mountains are spectacular. You have tremendous options for fitness there.
I’m really looking forward to the tricks video.

I added a picture of 2 of my border collies at the beach last week.

    Lisa.

      Thanks!!!

My dogs can be pretty pushy too, especially Bi and La (and never Bu, of course!), but with time, they got the idea that you can only join the fun if you don’t push others away -- or you get to practice your stays! 🙂 And they DON’T like that:). Try starting with easy, static tricks with both at the same time, it’s easier to control them as with things that involve more movement.

They look very happy at the beach! My dogs love it too, but unfortunately, winter is on its way to us…

      • Lisa October 25, 2010 at 23:51 Log in to Reply

They’re totally over the top at the beach for sure ! It’s great exercise , for me too 😉

I’ll give the static tricks a go today and keep the stays at the ready….I’m sure I’ll need to use them 😉

        Thanks,
        Lisa.
