Training Videos

Because of all the requests for "how to" videos, I'm starting with a series of training videos. And no, there is no high science in there, you can come to the same conclusions training and observing your dog, so these videos are not a "must-have" (one of very rare things on a market today, I guess 🙂 ). After all, I already explained most of the concepts via my websites, free to all. But if you want more detailed step by step explanations, it is now possible to order my first training videos.

You can always choose between a DVD option, paying additional 5e for shipping (the same no matter how many DVDs you order), or saving on shipping by choosing a download option - that is in high enough quality for watching on a computer, but we do recommend a DVD option for watching it on TV.

You can pay via PayPal or by money transfer to the following account:

LoLaBuLand d.o.o, Dobravica pri Velikem Gabru 9, 8213 Veliki Gaber, Slovenija, VAT id SI65090098

    Hi Silvia,

I just got my cik and cap video. I can view most of it and love it!

However, mine has an issue from end of trouble shooting section through the tricks section. The problem makes the video pause and then start multiple times through this bad area.

How do I get a replacement DVD?

    Thanks

    Hello-
I am new to your web site. I just tried to order both the “Healing” & “Tricks” DVD by PayPal. An error notice came up at the last step for each DVD. The message read an invalid PayPal code per administrator…Could you please check and see if my order was placed?
    Thank you,

I don’t know what that message was about, but your order came in normally and your DVDs will be send your way tomorrow morning! Hope they come in normal 6 days now, not like in December when it took three times as much…

    • LoLaBu January 2, 2011 at 23:16 Log in to Reply

I am… -- but not just yet… First come Tricks for thinking skills, then Puppy training etc… -- too much plans, not enough time for everything…

    Hi! Silvia!!

I know you’re quite busy, but could you please think about making a video for those hard to motivate dogs? Or speed problems? Thanks!

    • LoLaBu February 15, 2011 at 12:27 Log in to Reply

I’m actually planning a video on that too! But yes, it might take some time, too many ideas, not enough time for everything… But it’s definitely coming at one point!

    • Anonymous March 23, 2011 at 11:46 Log in to Reply

that would be Fad, a vid for hard to motivate dog and speed problems.
woulb be great!!! but I have strated to do a small bit of cik & cap, and he loves that bit of work.
      love all the vids..

      • LoLaBu March 23, 2011 at 15:38 Log in to Reply

Yes, cik&cap is a great start, it helps with speed a lot. There are other things that can make big difference too, will gather it all in a video, I think this really will be my next one, speed&motivation is what comes first, afterall -- everything else is easy when you have that.

Just a note for the sometimes techno-challenged (like me :). I just dowloaded the turns and tricks video. The tricks video comes as an M4V file and will note play on wmp. Just change the file extension to MP4 and it works fine. Sorry if this is obvious but it wasn’t to us

About your video on hard to motivate dogs (great that your doing one btw, especially for the dogs that have been trained for accuracy first, speed is allways a problem). Will you be demoing with your own dogs only? or will you be showing the ecsercises with an actual hard to motivate dog?
Just asking cause it is such a different thing seeing your four high-drive, high-energy dogs playing with you than seeing how it’s done with a dog that’s not that interested at all… Like in the cik&cap video, when you we´re restraining Bi in front of the tree and he got super fixated on that and exploded in full speed when you let her go. I have no idea how to get that same thing with my Leevi, who is such a slow and steady boy and definitely does not “charge up” like that when restrained… Luckily my new pup Terra is a natural on restrains and just being excited and running full speed 🙂

    • LoLaBu April 23, 2011 at 23:38 Log in to Reply

Well, actually, I worked really hard that my dogs look high-drive and high-energy 🙂 -- especially with Bu…

I have a ‘Bu’ dog and I found working lots on tug drive by just playing loads and clicking for tugging/interest in the toy and rewarding with food great. Regarding restraining, once lots of tug drive is built, causally grab his collar/leash or even just hold his chest and release him quickly with lots of energy from YOU. When he gets it play a stupidly big game for what he did.

what is the difference between the two tricks DVDs ?
Is there a special price if we buy the tricks, the heeling and the cik & cap at once ?

    • LoLaBu May 12, 2011 at 13:29 Log in to Reply

Tricks for a great bond include more general explanations on shaping and trouble shooting like what to do if the dog is interested in food or toys, if he is not offering anything etc. And Thinking Tricks video focuses on exploring and improving thinking skills of the dog: problem solving, generalization and complex thinking. I recommend watching the trailers, they will give you an idea on what it is all about.

    Hi Silvia,
Just received my videos and we started with the suitcase trick and worked through that, walk on my feet, hide and tail grab in two days (well I have a very enthusiastic and creative BC puppy, who loves to work for her meals). SOOO much fun!! Thank you for some great ideas and breaking it into pieces for me. Now we’re moving on with the rest of the tricks and heeling and I’m so happy I bought the tricks for better thinking skills video as well as my puppy is a fast learner 🙂
    Have a great day,
    Hugs
    Emily

Sounds great! It sure sounds like you are much faster in mastering the tricks as I am in making videos! 🙂 Have fun!

How do I access the instruction videos? You referred someone to them in the Foundaitons course on the teeter.
    Thank you

Don’t you see the video I always embed in classroom within lesson 1/2/3 instructions where I show with my dogs the homework you get?

    Hey Silvia,
I wanted to order the tricks for balance, … DVD but I have neither Paypal or a credit card and you hava written on your website, that there is a posibility to pay by mones transfer but how does that work?

    • LoLaBu May 6, 2012 at 13:22 Log in to Reply

Yes, on top of this page you can find the account number and all other info you need to do money transfer to a bank account. You can do it via internet banking or take the info to the bank, they will know how to do it. You then need to send me your shipping address and which DVDs you want so we know what and where to send -- that’s all. Hope that helps!
