Hi Silvia, here is Apples graduation video, running contacts certainly make us smile! Thank you so much, it has been a journey that is still continuing, but you have been amazing, my stress level certainly reduced, thank you! To anyone wanting to try, there are lots of ups and downs, but be warned, running contacts are addictive, have fun!

This class was a real adventure and roller-coaster for Kite and me – challenging and thrilling. It was my first RC training, and the first real agility dog 🙂 We had a lot of challenges because of my inexperienced handling and timing, but you helped to overcome any problems. In addition, Kite had issues with any left turn in the beginning of the class; he would miss any left entry. When I was watching our extreme front crosses on left later, I cried. I still cannot believe it 🙂
With your help, we progressed from hand calls and turns on the carpet to trials. Kite set the best time in all Standard runs we had – Novice and Open. We got the Open Standard title within one week, only 2 straight trials. Not a single miss on any contact in all runs!!!
I cannot believe that we got the entries that I could not dream about before.

Thank you! It was not easy! 🙂 We worked on only one course map exits (from advanced maps) for 2 months to get it all, but then all maps were done in 1 session each after that 🙂

We had a lot of fun training RC! It really is addictive, I love to train RC and it sure makes me smile 😀 .
Toffee made it really easy for me to train her. I didn’t expect Toffee to get RC on full hight, with different approaches and exits till the end of this class. But she did it!
Now we have to work on the tight turns and also the come to hand has to be trained a bit more.
I’m looking forward to our first trials with RC 😀

Such a journey ! Running contact had always been a dream for me, this kind of dream you let in your corner of your head, thinking it’s impossible. Well, nothing is impossible when you have the right person with you ! So, thank you Silvia for making my dream a reality -- even if we still have work to do ! -, thank you for helping me having fun with my strange and awesome dog for the first time. Cause yes, it was the first time we really get each other and Jips really loved it : running, running and only running, what could be better ? Nothing !
And thank you classmates too, I really had a blast watching all of you succeed, running contact are surely addictive ! Sure, it has up and down, it had been a really roller coaster sometimes for me but like a certain Augustus said once, it’s a roller coaster that only goes up my friend ! 😉

Here comes our graduation video! The girls and I just loved loved loved that class, RC are certainly addictive, so of course all of my dogs need them 🙂
I love my girls to the moon and back, they did so great, I’m really a proud mommy 😀 I never thought that I would be that far with Maevee in that short amount of time and Aimee hits now often in a row, isn’t overadjusting anymore and as long as I’m in front or beside her I can finally handle her 🙂 🙂

Reno and I have had so much fun on this RC journey with you all. It is always a bit sad when class ends because we miss training with everyone we have gotten to “know” from around the world. Thank you Silvia for all of your excellent advice and for watching all of our many videos. Your classes are truly wonderful! Thank you to all the classmates we followed -- your posts were very helpful and inspired us to try different things. And a huge thank you to my crazy boy Reno for making RC with him so much fun!!! We still have more to train but I am so very happy with the progress we have made. Now, if only I can get him to come off of the DW… 🙂
