hiking, photos

Remember when we flew to Lanzarote last year to rehab To's toe, letting her walk in sand and swim in the middle of winter. Well, her toe and shoulder are doing GREAT now! And we loved the trip so much to decide to do it again, just with some important improvements: 1. taking 3 dogs rather as just 2, 2. going to a different island this time, one with more green and forest and mountains and 3. instead of renting a car + apartment, we rented a motor-home to get two in one - and we loved it!!!

So why these 3? Mostly because I can't take all 5 (airplane limitations) and Bu and Bi are used to stay with my friends from my seminars times. - And they actually seem to enjoy a bit of a change 🙂 The spoiled youngsters however were never without me for more than 12 hours or so and they are very clear that no one else might walk or feed them without my presence.

Comparing Lanzarote and Gran Canaria... - very different! Lanzarote has more spectacular beaches, but Gran Canaria is definitely way better for hiking. Loved all the green! Especially since we mostly see white those days... - Unusually cold and snowy winter this year! So we are back to this now:

AMAZING pics as always! I’m happy to hear you had such a great holliday, and thrilled to read that To is doing so great!! She is such a sweetheart and deserves to be painfree 🙂 And Le seems to think nothing about wether she is running in sand, green fields or snow, as long as she can run 😀
