3,5 weeks: ups and downs
Day 22 brought the whole new set of problems... How to keep 7 puppies in a potty area with just 2 hands and 2 legs? How to pick up after 7 pooping puppies before one of 28 little paws steps in? How to keep food in bowls and puppies out of the bowls? Ah, so many questions! One would certainly wish for just 3 or 4 puppies in moments like that!!!
Day 23 had to bring some solutions. So we moved them to a new place with bigger, separate potty area that solved first two problems brilliantly. And the third problem, well, we just gave up on that one and called To to clean up.
So now, I can move them from their bedroom directly to the bathroom and then those who potty get transferred to dinning area, with free access to their living room - works brilliantly!!! We now have sooo much more room to play and explore, loving this huge double x-pen!!!
So here is their new fancy set up and day 25 photos:

They are so cute 🙂
Ahh, yes, just a taste of why your friends say they are so much work the older they get that you’re kind of happy to let them go at the end! 🙂 Of course, I’m not a good one to talk ;)I still kept 2 pups from Ulla’s first litter of 7, and 1 from her 2nd (and last) litter of 7! 🙂
LOVE watching their progress! You are doing such a GREAT job with them!!! And what an AWESOME combination of To & the handsome, well put together Dad! Sure wish I lived closer…I would jump at the chance to take one of these pups home! 🙂
Wow for 2 -- I don’t think so… -- Despite I do have 2 favorites! 🙂 And well, I can get you a pup to Toronto (a friend travelling there in April)… -- that is a bit closer!!!
Haha, yeah…I wasn’t planning on keeping 2 puppies, just 1 girl, 🙂 but I couldn’t find the right person for the soft temperament of one little boy so I kept him. He turned out to be one of my ‘heart’ dogs so I never had any regrets about keeping him. And it was so much fun raising littermates!
Hmm, yes…Toronto would be a bit closer! 🙂 That’s not very far from where I picked up Zephyr. Unfortunately, it’s now a lot more difficult to get a puppy back into the US as they require a rabies shot for dogs AND puppies. Zephyr had a horrible reaction to his 1st rabies shot @ 1 year old so I can’t imagine giving that shot to a baby puppy as it’s the same dosage no matter their weight! 🙁
Just curious…who are your 2 favorites???
You can do this!!!! Then Bim could teach this pup to swim!!!!!
They just get more and more beautiful!!!!!! I really, really love red dogs and their red is STUNNING!!!!!!
