Day 10
We just keep getting cuter and cuter!!! And it's really obvious now that they're really actively searching for human contact already. I think they will be just as cuddly, willing to please and great listeners as their mum!
To thinks pups are getting a bit boring though and says she is all ready for action, so we started with some tricks and walks to make her happy.
The hardest thing so far has been deciding on new homes... How to know they will be just as loved, spoiled and happy as I would wish for?!?
So to clarify - I'm not searching for best handlers for them... I'm searching for best HOMES for them - one's handling skills and results - or lack of them - don't matter to me at all. I would like them to do agility because I think they will love it, but they don't need to ever win anything. So if I'm asking for the videos, it's not to see your handling skills - it's to see the bond with your dog, the teamwork, the mutual trust, the joy, the happiness.
In a way, I'm really happy they're mixes, to keep people who are getting a dog with winning World Championships in mind away. Not that there is anything wrong with winning World Championships, obviously 🙂 - it's just wrong to be getting a dog from that reason.

Sylvia , the puppies are so gorgeous . Their coats are so shiny , I just love their color ! For what it’s worth , I think you really do have to be picky about the homes for them . To see how well you are raising them, how sweet and tender you are with them , how happy To is, they are getting such a great start in life, then the free classes, it really is tempting to want one. So I can see where you would want to see video of the bond between the person and their dog, you only want the puppies to be happy and loved.

Aaw, they are so cute! I hope you make a “Give your puppies the best first weeks of their lives as a breeder” DVD. There is a lot of breeders who have so much to learn from you! After watching the first part of your Puppy Diary, the part where you see the environment the breeder has for the puppies to grow up in, I really want to become a breeder so I can do the same! I hope it´s okey if I use the video you postet some days ago when I make a blogpost on how a breeder should be?

Thanks Mari! I’m sure trying to do my best raising these puppies, doing everything I would wish breeders of my dogs would do… BUt of course, I’m no expert in breeding dogs, so no such DVD planned 🙂 But sure, you are welcome to share it!

You have to make a contract with the future puppy parents that they have to send videos and pics regularly, so you can keep us all updated on how they grow and develop 🙂
