Some dogs never die…

Simply The Best de Loubajac, 20.9.2001 - for ever...

DSC_9111 copy

I will see her smile on every dog running those contacts, on every dog doing cik&cap, every dog doing tricks... She started something big, too big to ever die.

Such a big heart, such a big attitude, such a big character in that crazy little dog. So unique, so special, so magic. That little funny looking dog who went with me to University, who travelled the world with me in her little sherpa bag. That crazy little dog who changed my life, little dog who put agility in a whole new gear, winning World Championships with more advantage as ever seen before or after... Yes, she always loved to go fast - and she left us way too fast... After successfully fighting the nasal tumor and magic recovery of her palate fistula, new tumors in her lungs and peritonitis got us off guard... But her spirit, her passion, her enthusiasm are way too big to ever leave us.

Thank you La for being the best dog I could imagine. Thanks to all her fans who were sending good thoughts her way. Thanks to her team of oncologists, dr.Meier from Zurich, dr.Kleiter from Vienna and dr.Nolan from Raleigh, and her on site vets Maja and Asja.

Run wild my love, my one in a billion, my everything.

I am so sorry for your loss. 🙁

La was an amazing dog. I remember watching all of her video and there were such a joy and happiness between you too. You had amaizng bond with each other. When I first saw the video where you won WC I was almost crying from happiness. Now it is so hard to watch.

I can not even imagine what you must feel right now. She had changed many lives, but I belive that this how she change your life was beyond compare.

Please, be strong. We will always remember litte La with big smile ad big spirit.

Indeed, a great little dog lives on in our hearts. Sorry to hear about the news but I’m sure she’s lived her life, every moment so well and inspired so many. There’s no regrets to talk about. Please take care too!

I have been a fan of La’s on all your learning videos and followed her competitions on youtube for the past few years. You are right, what an amazing little dog and so lucky to have your love and your knowledge. You are truly the best trainer in the world. May you always have a smile as big as hers on your face when you think of her.

NO … I am SO SAD. Thanks to you Silvia, La had a wonderful and hyper active life and you always have done the best for her. That’s why she gave so much back with all her enthousiams and energy. You must be very proud of her and day after day her spirit will never leave you. We love such a fantastic team you are.

I cannot express how sorry I am. In a way, La and her videos changed my entire way of thinking and training approach.

I never trained obedience as tricks, and never specifically did any tricks with my dogs. It was just ‘not too serious’ for me. As a result, most dogs I saw on obedience and agility competitions were poorly looking unhappy creatures that were drugged, popped by color, lured, entertained or coached by their owners. This is what I didn’t want to happen to my new puppy!

It was a great luck that I found your tricks/heeling videos, starring La… I was so impressed with her enthusiasm – at 8 week old! On these videos, she showed such joy and commitment that I could hardly see in seasoned agility champions. This is what I wanted to see in my puppy! Your training approach and La’s attitude completely changed my views and priorities. I am not concerned with official titles any longer, all I want is to see such happiness, love and willingness to work in my puppy, as I saw in 8 week La.. She must have been very-very happy with you!

Hi little La, so sad news 🙁
Do you know long time ago there was a little girl whose father told her your story? He told her there was a dog called Simply the Best who was indeed simply the best… but this little girl didn’t realise that this dog (you) was true…she thought you were like a Fairy tale, a Legend. The first time she saw you in live, there were so much stars in her eyes: her Legend was true. You were her Legend…This little girl wishes you a good journey <3 keep your beautiful smile forever <3

I’m so sorry to read this. 🙁

La has been such a great idol and teacher to so many people and their dogs and she will live on in the many, many dogs that learnt how to just run happily thanks to the best role model you can imagine.

Silvia, what a lovely tribute to La. She will live on in our memories, she is a legend. I have fond memories of you and La tearing up the course, me cheering wildly. She is truly Simply The Best!
