Spring is here!
Not much news lately, we're mostly simply enjoying the great weather and are very happy to be able to train outside, play in the pool again, jog in the woods and enjoy the sun. La is still feeling great and has no problems at all and no metastasis. She had last chemo last week and we were looking forward to times with no vet visits, but unfortunately, right after the last chemo, I found a hole in her palate... - what is a possible late side-effect of radiation, but VERY rare, so nobody really saw this before nor knows how to deal with it... Everybody seems very concerned about surgery on a tissue that was irradiated – and just as worried about leaving this as it is... So at the moment, we're observing the hole and thinking what to do... I can't believe La first gets a very rare nasal tumor that then turns out to be mast cell tumor what is extremely rare for a nasal tumor and now has just as rare side-effect... I guess she is one in a billion dog in more aspects as just one... She says a hole in the palate is a piece of cake in comparison to hole in a stomach, so let's hope she is right, she sure got us all very worried again...
As pretty and as happy as always: with or without the hair!
Love you La! Keep smiling!!!
Oh Silvia, her new speckles are truly so pretty! I think of you often and am wishing the best for all of you.
WHAT???? Warm enough for a pool???? I am moving to Slovenia!!! Love La’s happy smile and crazy was of making you worried!! OK, I don’t love that, but she sure does keep you thinking in crazy ways!!!
Well, To and Bi say it’s ALWAYS warm enough for the pool, but since Le agrees this time, it must be true!
Ahh no way! We need to move there too! Crazy how cold those silly border collies will go into the water and still think it’s great.
La looks fantastic. Hope she is right about everything again, wishing you guys the best. 🙂
Thank you for the update! She looks as happy as ever! Wishing the very best for her and you. Keep on smiling La!!!!
Snowing again here just now. Wet, wet snow that really makes everything horrible. First outdoor show next weekend so I hope the weather picks up a bit.
Good luck and best wishes for La, she always looks such a happy dog.
Oh no! I hope spring comes soon for you too! We have all sun -- but so much wind I can’t train those days either…
She looks wonderful. Eyes are full of life and the wisdom that comes with age. You go girl!!!
La looks wonderful Silvia. what a tough little dog, I wish her the best and know that she has a GREAT life with you!
