Norway photos
And finally some pictures from our hiking in Norway. - Not very many, as we were mostly too wet, too cold or too tired to take pictures. The nature is sure gorgeous, but the weather, hm... We didn't have not even one day without any rain! So we sure did lots of walking to keep us warm! π The dogs loved it!

I don’t know where in Norway you’ve been, but the country also have nice weather. Hehe. The west of Norway has much rain, and the east has more normal weather(read: a lot of sun, but also some rainy days). But the west has the most beautiful nature π
Welcome back to Norway, and visit the east of the country(where I live) π
It does? π I was there 5 times and never had a chance to see it -- I always say it would be too good to be true if it was actually warm and sunny enough to swim in all those lovely lakes! π I think Rondane National Park was the most east we’ve been to this time. And we did a round on national parks west from there then.
Yes, the east of Norway usually has the best weather, but maybe not as many high mountains (but there are mountains there too).
So if you want nice weather as well so I recommend the east of the country. Hehe.
I would also recommend a trip to the north of Norway once. There you can see the midnight sun (sun all night and day) and northern light(aurora polaris). But it is probably a bit cold to swim in the lakes so far north. I’ve never tried before! π
For us, even lakes on the south are too cold π But no worries, we knew where we’re going and wouldn’t choose Norway if we wanted hot&sunny π I will be missing Norwegian temperatures this week, having a camp on 35 degrees… Last time, we went up to Mo i Rana, but then gave up on going any farther north, it’s just sooo much driving on those roads. So this year, we didn’t even try going so far north. Aurora must be really impressive to see it in live, but…
Woooow, stunning photos and nature!!!! But I need sun and being able to swim, so we’re heading South again π
So beautiful! Who took all these photos?
Ooh, wonderful pictures, beautiful dogs and marvellous places!! I’m sooo envious of your three weeks in norway π too bad I’m not 18 yet and can’t do my vacations on my own, I would love to spend some weeks hiking in the mountains — but my parents don’t and so I have to pass boring holidays with them doing nothing on a beach the whole day for a week π
But, I’m wondering: what’s the building on picture 11??
It’s an old bell. And yes, I hated those whole days on the beach too π Swimming feels much better after 8 hours of walking!
A bell? I would have never guess… I thought it was a kind of storage building or so! And yes, 8 hours hiking+final swim are much better then 8 hours lying on the sand! π Much better for my low pressure too… it causes me lots of headaches and tiredness expecially when it’s very hot, but I noticed hiking helps a lot, even more than coffee sometimes!! However, how did you get to norway? Plane, car, train?
A car -- it makes travelling with 4 dogs WAY easier π
Gorgeous pictures, seems like you had an amazing time ;). Love the picture with La on your shoes, hilarious!
Nice pictures in a beautifull country with funny dogs! I love it ! π
Love seeing all your photos. Norway looks beautiful! Too bad about the rain -- but how amazing to be out in the mountains hiking all day! The dogs are SO happy……
Nice photos and yes we have had a bad summer in Norway this year with a lot of rain.
