    Hi!
Just download the video it’s awesome. I loved the 10 tricks, that gives a lot of idea for working forward. And I keep loving your philosophy”The dog may get confused. But who cares? It’s cute!” Thank you fot that it’s just so nice to hear that!
We tried the suitcase trick. The fact is that when the dog is big and the suitcase not so big the lying part get difficult.
I’ve found a way to fix it: I give the reward not in the suitcase (the dog has to back up and hind paws are bumping out of the suitcase) but outside of it, in a corner. It helps Obi lying down in the diagonal, which is the only way for him to do so.
I’m not sure it’s the best way to do so, and we will need one more session and he will end up with head and tail out of the suitcase (I think that’s gonna be REALLY cute, the shaking tail and the crazy face!) but we are having a lot of fun with this trick!
Thank you again and keep going with the videos! Can’t wait to see the next one.
    Bye
    Pauline

Sounds very cute indeed! Thanks a lot for the feedback and don’t forget to post a video when you master the trick!

Here is our video of the suitcase trick!

He gets a little confused and try the hide trick when he is in the suitcase. On some try he succeds in putting his tail in but for the head, that will be much more difficult 🙂

    Hi,

Okay, so here’s the first trick of the video that we have learned.
It is the suitcase trick. The suitcase is just too small, so she puts her head a little out.

That was fast! And very cute! 🙂 I think it looks even better with a smaller suitcase as the bigger one!

    Hi Silvia:

We have learned the Suitcase trick. It didn’t take long at all. Our biggest problem was being a big dog:)) We needed to use a big suitcase and sometimes when getting in the top would get thrown all the way open and wouldn’t fall down on her to close the suitcase. So I just kept rewarding when she started laying down as soon as she was getting in and that seemed to help.

The video is really good, very useful, but I think that the quality of the image is poor. There are videos on YouTube with better quality in HD.

    • LoLaBu December 14, 2010 at 20:43 Log in to Reply

The problem is that if we would post 1h 20min video in HD for a download, it would take too long to download. That’s why we have two options, one is lower quality video for downloading, another is higher-quality DVD that can be sent by post for those who want to watch it on TV. It’s only the old tricks videos that are in lower quality also on DVD as we had another, not so good camera, when making those. But they were just too cute to not include those 🙂

Ok, I understand, thanks for the explanation. Now my better chance is to download the video. I have all of your videos and I really like them.
        Bye 🙂
