Puppy Class

duration
6 lessons, one every 2 weeks
= 12 weeks of feedback + 2 weeks of a break in between
requirements
- no minimal or maximal age
- no equipment needed

Due to many requests to hold a trick/puppy class sooner to keep the dogs busy and fit during the lock down, here it comes!!! This class can be done in small places, with no equipment, and is appropriate for every age, for conditioning of active performance dogs and for keeping senior dogs happy and fit. - It's never too young or too old to learn! I'll make sure to add enough challenges also for adult dogs who know many tricks already, with emphasis on verbal discrimination and conditioning. So yes, there will be some extras to the normal Puppy Class program!

This class promotes the development of physical and mental skills, helps puppies to learn how to learn, how to use their mind and bodies, builds great body awareness, balance and strength. It's not only beneficial for puppies, but also for active agility dogs or retired dogs to keep them busy, fit and young.

Hi Silvia. I really want to join the puppy class after watching those stunning videos. I have several questions though.
    1. How does it work? I watch the DVD and then post the training videos on the forum. You leave your comments, like that?
    2. I don’t have the plan for my fur friend to join the agility race, because I have no access to the equipment. Is there any class that I can join after finishing puppy class?
    3. Will it be too late if I pay and register in September?

      1. Yes, you watch the DVD + read lesson instructions + read the important posts where I warn about the most common mistakes and give some more tips. Then you post your video and I comment on how to make things even better or give extra challenges if everything is perfect already 🙂
      2. Tricks class is the only one not focused on agility I’m afraid…
      3. The registration opens about 3 weeks before the beginning, so check back at the beginning of November.
      See you in class!

Yes, that’s because you can only enter as an auditor of the past class at the moment. November class registration opens the beginning of November, so check back then!

No, sorry, repeaters are only those taking the class again with the same dog…

Hi! When is the next puppy class going to start? Is this the first recommended class for a puppy that will do agility in the future. I’m not sure if I understand which class should follow this one and is still appropriate for a puppy (agility foundations?).

Next Puppy Class starts in June and yes, it’s the best place to start. After Puppy Class, the next two options are Foundations and Running Contacts -- in whatever order. But for these, 7 months is the minimum age to start.
