Foundation Class registration is now open!

20 Jul 2015

The registration for our most popular class is now open!!! We'll be starting with the first homework on August 17, but you can register and enter the classroom already now to check out pre-homework 🙂 - and look around the classroom!

Our major focus will be teaching great cik&cap in order to get tight turns, great distance skills, sends, extension and collection all at the same time, putting it in sequences to make it even more fun for the dogs and to practice some handling as well. We'll also be addressing speed&motivation issues and start with weaves, see-saw and contacts.

Since all the feedback is completely personalized, it's appropriate for all levels - we had everything from puppies to World Team members in this class.

WARNING: unlike in previous classes, we'll be sticking to max. 10 minutes of videos per lesson (in total that means 60 min in 12 weeks of the class) and to sending/discussing contacts only when those lessons are out (so in 2nd and 6th lesson - all together for 4 weeks).

We'll address all the topics addressed in Foundations video + see-saw and weaves:

Foundations Fun DVD trailer

Minimum age at the beginning of the class is 6 months, minimal equipment needed: 3 jumps, a tunnel and Foundations DVD. Agility Diary DVD is recommended as well. Appropriate for all levels, from total beginners to experienced dogs who could use better turns, more independence or speed. The class has 6 lessons, one every 2 weeks = 12 weeks of feedback (+ 2 weeks of a catch-up break in between).

Another important change is that special repeaters price is only for people who are taking this class again with the same dog. If you took the class before with another dog, choose participant option.

Please make sure your are registered and logged in before you proceed to paying with paypal - this will ensure you will get your correct access automatically.

participant (includes Foundations video download link) - 220 EUR/ 240 USD

in case you already have the DVD, choose this participant option - 180 EUR/ 195 USD

auditor/repeater/2nd dog - 120 EUR/ 130 USD

I checked and the link was sent the same day -- maybe check your spam box and if you still don’t find it, let me know and I’ll send it again.

I am having a problem getting to the important form for the new foundation class starting on Aug. 17. You sent me and email on July 20 how to go to the important and I did. But now I am back and cannot access it.

Hm, that’s very strange -- I checked your access and it looks good. What error message do you get and, can you check if you get it in different browsers and if possible, on different computers?

Hi, will the online classes be a joint session at a specific time (when, in that case), or classes we can run through individually every two weeks?

No, no specific times as we have participants from all over the world. So all material is on at all times and you can come, read, ask and post videos at any time and then I normally answer in few hours.

    Hi,

Do you know when you’ll run Foundations class again after the Aug 2015 start? I have a 7 month on mini poo. Not ready for full jumps. Do you use cones or jump wings? Just looking for more description of the material.

    Thank you!

Probably in April. 7 months is a good age to start though -- we of course don’t start with full jumps!!! -- Not even with adult dogs! Most of the work is done with no bars and then we start raising them VERY gradually.
