New DVD!

Good news! My new training DVD is almost ready! And it's a really fun one: almost 2 hours of suggestions how to get more speed out of your dog! We'll be discussing conditioning, building the right attitude, different games to play, how to deal with stress and how to make agility just another game and all about the running. You'll learn some new games to play, how to teach a dog to stress up instead stressing down, everything on my magic "ajde ajde" word and the power of voice.

Coming soon!

Oh, the “ready-steady-go” title really makes me smile as it’s the name of a game I always do in walks with my dogs Bella and Easy! I have them in front of me, I say Ready? and they stop watching me, Steady? and they prepare all their muscles, Go! and Bella runs away while Easy trys to chase her. Only that just running behind Bella was too unsuccesful way for Easy as she could never reach her, so she started to place some meters on right or left (depending on where I was watching) when I say Ready? and when Bella pass by her she can simply attack Bella’s neck and stop her. So now at the Go! Bella is starting to run straight forward Easy, and then turn quickly around her on left or on right, and it really seems she is laughing watching at poor confused Easy that still can’t understand what happened… You should really see them, they’re just too funny, each one trying to trick the other one 🙂

Great! My dog is really fast on agility field, but we never were on competition. I think she is too fast for me 🙂 But I think that new games will be perfect for all dogs! I would like to add more confidence to my Azja. So I think I will buy this dvd…:)

Yeap, I think Azja has enough speed 🙂 but confidence, games and conditioning parts are interesting also for those with fast dogs!

We were just talking about conditioning this week. Speed games would be great too, especially for my borzois (OK. That seems silly, but they tend to stress down and then lose motivation OR get the borzoi zoomies and then they’re a blur… but no focus.) Yup, we’re a go for this DVD!! Can’t wait.
